The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Completion of a single work of similar nature costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of two works of similar nature, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of three works of similar nature, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. For Joint Ventures (JVs), the qualifying criteria parameter for experience can be fulfilled in various ways, including: - Any of the JV partners or the JV itself having the experience of a single work of similar nature equal to 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Either the JV itself or any one partner having the experience of completion of two works of similar nature, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - At least two partners having completed at least one work of similar nature, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Either the JV itself or any one partner having the experience of completion of three works of similar nature, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Any two partners matching the requirement through completion of at least two works by one partner and one work by another partner, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. - All three partners matching the requirement through completion of at least one work of similar nature, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The cost of previous completed works will be given a simple weightage of 7% per year to bring them to the current price level. The experience criteria are not applicable for tenders with an estimated contract value (ECV) below 50 lakhs. The bidder must have prior work experience of similar work during the last 7 years.
