GRANULAR BASE COURSE- Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tones in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and booming requisite type of screening / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregates, watering including lighting, guarding, barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling, including cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and compacting to the required density, as per clause 404 of specification of road and bridge works of MORT and H (5th revision). (i) Grading - I. Aggregates (63 mm to 45 mm) using stone screening type 'B' (11.2 mm). B)Manual means. For Bottom Layer :-

Providing and applying primer coat with catonic bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 and requisite quantity on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per clause 502 of specification for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT & H (5th revision). (i) On WBM / WMM Surface : (with primer @ 0.70-1.0 kg/m

Providing and applying tack coat with catonic bituminous emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978, on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydralic broom, moistering the surface, including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machineries and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of specification for road and bridge works of MORT & H (5th Revision). (i) On Bituminous Surface

Open graded Premix surfacing using Bituminous ( Viscosity Grade Paving Bitumen / Modified Bitumen) Binder and Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) Providing, laying and rolling of open grsded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2mm size (@ 0.018/m2) and 11.2mm size (@ 0.009m3/ m2) stone aggregates including throughly cleaning of the surface, screening, cleaning and preheating stone chips and fully precoating the same either using viscosity grade paving bitumen or cut-back or emulsion, carrying the mixture by any suitable arrangement, laying the mixtureuniformly work the surface, including laying, grade & level to serve as wearing coarse on a previously prepared base, including mixing in mobile hoy mix plant and thoroughly rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tones capacity, finished to required level and grades including the cost and carriage of stone chips and matrix, heating the matrix, pre-heating the aggregates to required temparature and including the mobile hot mix plant and other machinaries, pay of operators, cost of fuel and lubricant etc. complete to be followed by seal coat of either type A or type B as per technical specification clause 508 for Rural Road of MORD.

Providing and laying premixed seal coat (type 'B') with approved quality sand/grit @ 0.6m3/100 m2 and hot bitumen binder on thoroughly cleaned black top surface coated with tack coat, including heating and mixing cleaned sand/grit (100% passing through 2.36 mm sieve and retained on 180 micron sieve) uniformly with hot binder, laying and spreading the mix at an uniform rate using suitable means, brushing the surface if necessary, to ensure uniformly, followed by rolling with power roller including the cost and carriage of binder and aggregates, cost of heating and binder and aggregates, cost of heating the binder and aggregates and all other incidental charges, cost of fuel and lubricants,including hire charges of machineries, tools & plants required for construction and quality control complete as per clause 511 of specification of road and bridge work of MORD & H (5th revision). I)By Mechanical means :- i)With hot bitumen binder @ 6.80 Kg/10 m2.

(C) BAMBOO PILLING WORK :- Close Bamboo Walling made of 65mm to 75mm dia.bamboos (in single line) driven about half-length into the ground side by side, with stout stays at an interval of 1m, 3nos. of half split bamboo runner of same dia fitted and fixed with nails etc. complete as per direction. (Measurement to be taken along the length of piling after finishing the works). (i) With bamboos of length above 2.50m and upto 3.00m Length of pilling:- Along the bank – (double row)

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of sand and gunny bags.

Supplying empty Cement bags in good condition.

Supply of fine sand.

Supply & erection of Informatory Sign Boards having M.S. Channels/Angel Posts & 1.5 mm thick M.S. sheet & synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer including lettering complete.
