Excavation for Structures (Slab/Box Culvert) : Earthwork in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out,removing,spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches,levelling,dressing and ramming the bottom and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge and as per of Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision). I. Ordinary Soil (a) Upto 3 m depth

PCC Grade M10 [Nominal mix 1:3:6] : Providing plain/reinforced cement concrete in open foundation with or without reinforcements in any part of foundation with graded stone chips of appropriate nominal sizes including screening and cleaning of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates(sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement as necessary, mixing in concrete mixer of suitable capacity and cost of curing with water, including preparation of design mix approved of the same by the Engineer in charge , cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. including cost of form work but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 of specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision) using 250 kg cement, 0.48 cum coarse sand, 0.576 cum of 37.50mm stone aggregate, 0.288 cum 22.40 mm stone aggregate and 0.096 cum 11.20mm stone aggregate and 4% for form work.

PCC Grade M15 [Nominal mix 1:2.5:5] : Plain/reinforced cement concrete in substructure for height upto 5m with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal sizes and grading including screening and cleaning, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality, cement and water reducing admixtures, as necessary and mixing in concrete mixwe of suitable capacity and cost of curing with water, including labour, including preparation of dsign mix approved of the same by the Engineer in charge, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. including cost of form work but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawings and technical specification Clauses 802, 804, 805, 806, 807, 1202 and 1206 of Specification for Rural Roads,ural Roads (1st Revision) MORD and as per direction of Engineer in charge. using 275 kg cement, 0.48 cum coarse sand, 0.48 cum 37.50mm stone aggregate, 0.24 cum 22.40 mm stone aggregate and 0.08 cum 11.20 mm stone aggregate followed by 10% cost on all materials per cum for form work

R.C.C Grade M 25 (Design Mix) : Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete in superstructure for height upto 5m with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal sizes and grading including screening and cleaning, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality, cement and water reducing admixtures, as necessary and mixing in concrete mixwe of suitable capacity and cost of curing with water, including labour, including preparation of dsign mix approved of the same by the Engineer in charge, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. including cost of form work and staging upto 5m but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawings as per drawing and technical specifications Clauses 800, 1401.4.1 and 1401.4.3 of Specification for Rural Roads, MORD (1st Revision) and as per direction of Engineer in charge using 400 Kg cement, 0.45 cum. Coarse sand, 0.54 cum 22.40 mm stone aggregate and 0.36 cum 11.20 mm stone aggregate and add 20% for formwork and staging on cost of the materials for height upto 5 m.

HYSD : Supplying, fitting, and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in substructure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1mm in size and conforming to IS:280 at every intersection, hooked and bent to correct shape and place on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire complete as per drawing and technical specifications Clauses 1002, 1005, 1010 and 1202 of Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision), MORD.Tor Steel Rods / HYSD Bars / TMT Bars (JSW/JSPL/Shyam/SRMB/SSL/BMASL/Electrosteel) (Fe 415 / Fe 500 / Fe 500D, Conforms to IS:1786). Using 1.05 MT (considering 5% wastage) of steel material including loading, unloading and carriage.

Weepholes: Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards outward face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1206.3 of Specification for rural Roads (1st Revision) including curing complete and as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Boulder Sausage : Proviing and placing of boulder apron laid in sausage wire crate of specified sizes made of 4 mm dia GI wire net of 100mm x 100mm square mesh including required lapping as directed of wire net, stiching with GI wire strongly, filling up the sausage wire crate with approved stone / laterite boulders of minimum 40 Kg. each properly @ 0.90 cum /cum and stiching the gap with GI wires, closing both ends with GI wire net including lapping all sides as directed, including trimming and preparation of bed by cutting or filling earth as required complete including cost of all materials and labours and all incidential charges in this connection. Using 1.00 cum of stone with minimum size of 200mm & 0.20 cum of stone spalls

Construction of embankment, Sub-grade, shoulder, etc. with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift up to 1.5 m, transporting to site, throwing the same in not more than 25 cm (loose) thick layers and compacting by Power Roller, each layer of soil below the sub-grade level in embankment at OMC to meet 98% of SPD and the top 30 cm upto the sub-grade level and shoulder at OMC to meet 100% of SPD including breaking all clods thoroughly, watering, dressing, cambering, etc. filling, depressions making sufficient number of benches on existing embankment, bailing out water, dressing side slope and crust to proper profile in accordance with the procedure of work as detailed in technical specification clauses 301.5 and 303.3 and tables 300.1, 300.2 and IS 2720 Part VII including cost for proper arrangement for stripping off the grass shods, weeds, quality control, scarifying existing ground and original ground up to the depth of 150 mm and rolling the existing ground as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge including all taxes, royalties, cess, etc. incluiding cost of carriage by head load/Truck, loading & Unloading when and where necessary, lighting, guarding, and barricading, protecting etc. complete. (Payment will be made in cum on the finished work as per specifications on the basis of the prework & postwork level section measurements. Royalty charges & cess for earth @ 34.30 per cum work will be deducted under West Bengal Mines & Mineral Acts). i) For embankment work with a lead up to 50m at OMC to meet 98% SPD

ii) For embankment work with a lead up to 1000m at OMC to meet 98% SPD

iii) For sub-grade and shoulder work with a lead up to 50m at OMC to meet 100% SPD

Granular Sub-base with Well Graded Material (Table 400.1): Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material conforming to table-400.1A and 400.1C of MORD mixing by mix in place method with rotovator, spreading in uniform layers with Tractor Mount Grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber compacting with three wheel 80-100 KN Static roller to achieve the desired density including cost of all materials including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost for hire and operational charges of machinery, tools & plants, including making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side to protect the edges and cost for quality control etc. complete as per technical specification of clause 401 of Specification for Rural Roads, MORD (1st Revision) of MORD and as per direction of Engineer in charge (A) By Mix in Place Method

Water Bound Macadam Sub-Base/Base (WBM Grading II): Providing, laying, spreading and compacting grading II stone aggregates of specific sizes (63mm to 45mm) conforming to Table 400.8 of MORD for water bound macadam including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying requisite type of screening/binding materials having Liquid limit (LL), Plasticity Index (PI) and passing 75 micron less than 20, 6 and 10% respectively to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate and brooming, watering and compacting to the required density including cost of all materials including lighting, guarding, barricading including cost for hire and operational charges of machinery, tools & plants, including making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side to protect the edges and cost for quality control etc. complete as per technical specification of clause 405 of Specification for Rural Roads, MORD (1st Revision) of MORD and as per direction of Engineer in charge

Prime Coat with Bitumen Emulsion (Low porosity) : Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1 grade) conforming to IS:8887 on prepared surface of granular base (WBM/WMM) including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 kg/sqm using mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Technical Specification Clause 502 of Specifications for Rural Roads (1st Revision) of MORD and as per direction of Engineer in charge

Tack Coat with Bitumen Emulsion: Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1 grade) conforming to IS:8887 using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.225 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned using with Hydraulic broom including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Technical Specification Clause 503. of Specifications for Rural Roads (1st Revision) of MORD and as per direction of Engineer in charge

20mm thick Open-Graded Premix Carpet using Bituminous (penetration grade/modified bitumen) Binder: Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm (@ 0.018 cum/sqm) and11.2 mm (@ 0.009cum/sqm) aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades as per Technical Specification Clause 506 of Specifications for Rural Roads including heating the bitumen and preheating the aggregates and all other cost and charges of fuel, lubricants in this connection including hire and operational charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control, lighting, guarding, barricading etc. complete (1st Revision) of MORD and as per direction of Engineer in charge

Seal Coat (Type B): Providing and laying premixed seal coat with approved quality sand/grit and bitumen binder on thoroughly cleaned black top surface coated with tack coat, including heating and mixing cleaned sand/grit (100% passing through 2.36 mm sieve and retained on 180micron sieve) uniformly with bitumen binder, laying and spreading the mix at an uniform rate using suitable means, brushing the surface, if necessary, to ensure uniformity, followed by rolling with power roller including the cost and carriage of binder and aggregates and all other incidental charges, cost of fuel and lubricants, including hire charges of machineries, tools & plants required for construction and quality control complete as per Technical Specification Clause 508 of Specifiaction of Rural Roads (1st Revision) of MORD and as per direction of Engineer in charge
