Removal of Unserviceable Soil with Disposal upto 1000 metres Removal of unserviceable soil including excavation, loading and disposal upto 1000 metres lead but excluding replacement by suitable soil which shall be paid separately as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3.11 for Rural Roads of MORD. (Mode of measurement: pre works and post works).

GSB : Granular Sub-base with Graded Material - By Mix in Place Method Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, mixing by mix in place method with Rotavator at OMC, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber, compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost of all materials, machinery, tools and plants including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). GSB Grading-II:

Cement Concrete Pavement (laying manually) Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with cement content as per IRC: 15-2011, coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a batch mix plant / RMC and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design (as per IRC:44 2008), laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing, spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, polysulphide sealant, dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/ culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, using curing compound (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1501 for Rural Roads of MORD. (ii) With RMC Spec:-(i)expansion joint shall be provide on each 30mtrs interval.(ii)During casting of concrete,plate vibrator shall be used .without plate vibrator no casting of concrete will be made.(iii) Efforts should be made for 3% cambering of the road.(iv) Minimum seven days curing for the concrete road shall be made. (a) CC pavement work with PCC-M30 Grade Design Mix Concrete:Laid over 125 micron thick polythene film with fixed side formwork all complete.200mm thick CC pavement with provison for expansion joint @30mc/c

JOINT SEALING COMPOUND Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawings and technical specifications with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight.

TRAFFIC SIGN & ROAD SAFETY WORK

Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade kilometre stone of standard design as per IRC:8-1980, fixing in position including painting and printing etc.

Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).The retro reflective sheeting used on the signs shall consist of white or coloured sheeting having a smooth outer surface which has the property of retro reflection over its entire surface. It shall be weather resistant and exhibit colour fastness .60 cm equilateral triangle : for Cautionary/Warning Signs for Signage like Left/Right Curve, Hairpin Bend, Narrow Bridge, School Ahead, Series of Bends etc.: with red border and black symbol in white background [600mm side with 45mm wide border & Distance of sign from hazard =45m]

60 cm Circular : for Mandatory/ Regulatory Signs for Signage like Speed limit, Maximum load limit etc.

90 cm high Octagon : Mandatory/ Regulatory Signs for Octagonal red STOP sign

60 cm x 45 cm rectangular : for Informatory/Guide Signs Facility Information: symbol within a rectangular board with blue background. For Direction and Place Identification signs: used with destination names and distances with arrows indicating the direction. White Background with Black Arrows/Border/Letters
