Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in : Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand).

15mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall of mix 1:6 (1cement: 6 coarse sand).

Repair to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar, including disposal of rubbish, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing G.I. pipes complete with G.I. fittings and clamps, i/c cutting and making good the walls etc. Internal work - Exposed on wall. 20 mm dia nominal bore.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for : Weather shade, Chajjas, corbels etc., including edges.

Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, 3mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with glass fibre matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 ltr/sqm. by the same membrane manufactured of density at 25°C, 0.87 - 0.89 kg/ltr and viscocity 70 - 160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc., and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 350/300 N/5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 60/80N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane : 3 mm thick.

Dismantling CI or AC or PVC rain water pipe 100mm dia. with fittings within a lead of 50m.

Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. including priming coat with approved steel primer all complete. Fixed to steel windows by welding.

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) : For shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately): Powder-coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron).

Providing and fixing PTMT Ball cock of approved quality, colour and make complete with Epoxy coated aluminium rod with L.P./H.P.H.D. plastic ball. 20mm nominal bore, 120mm long, weighing not less than 198gms.

Providing and fixing G.I. Union in existing G.I. pipe line, cutting and threading the pipe and making long screws, including excavation, refilling the earth or cutting of wall and making good the same complete wherever required : 20 mm nominal bore each.

Providing and fixing gun metal gate valve with C.I. wheel of approved quality (screwed end) : 20 mm nominal bore.

Providing and placing on terrace (at all floor levels) polyethylene water storage tank, IS : 12701 marked, with cover and suitable locking arrangement and making necessary holes for inlet, outlet and overflow pipes but without fittings and the base support for tank.

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacturer.

Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicon additives of required shade: new work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43lit/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90litre/10 sqm).

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level: Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement : 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing: 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-lll) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Making plinth protection 50mm thick of cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) over 75mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm nominal size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand, including necessary excavation, levelling & dressing & finishing the top smooth.

Providing and applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflective Index (SRI) of 105 on top of concrete roof in three coats @ 10.76 lire/10 Sqm. One coat self priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and two coats of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application / system not less than 500 microns). The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item): with float glass panes of 5mm thickness (weight not less than 12.50kg/sqm).

Carriage of material by mechanical transport including loading, unloading and stacking upto lead of 3 KM.

Providing and fixing 150mm diameter and 1m length high-quality PVC rainwater pipe by taking out old 75mm/100mm dia rainwater pipe at roof level to pass the rainwater. The pipe must be anchored with concrete and finished by cement-sand mortar. Concrete and finishing mortar costs are excluded from the rate. Old pipes must be stacked in the Institute stack yard. 150mm dia rainwater pipe may also fixed by cutting walls in the new suitable position of the roof as per instruction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning the dry leaves, plants from roof, transport the unserviceable materials (which is stored in roof) in the Institute stack yard and taking out old damage APP membrane from the roof. Payment will made as per the actual area of APP taking out from the roof.

Dismantling of existing old perforated RCC water tank (1m diameter, 1.25m height) which is kept at the roof and removing of connected GI pipes . Dismantled concrete will be stacked in the zero waste plan of the colony. Reinforcement and rusted GI pipes must be stacked in the Institute stack yard.
