Dismantling GS sheet roofing including ridges, hips valleys and gutters etc and stacking within Institute stack yard as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out doors, windows and clerestory windows(steel or wood) shutters including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. of area 3 sqm and below including stacking within Institute stack yard as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Brick work with FPS bricks of class designation 7.5 in Super Structure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in 1:6 grade (1 cement : 6 coarse sand).

Half brick masonry with bricks of class designation 75 in superstructure above plinth upto floor V level in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand).

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement : 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natu ral sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Centering & shuttering including strutting, propping etc & removal of form for lintels, beams, cantilevers etc.

Extra for providing and mixing water proofing material in cement concrete work in doses by weight of cement as per manufacturer's specification.

Repair to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar, including disposal of rubbish, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

12 mm cement plaster of mix of mix 1:4( 1 cement : 4 fine sand).

15mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall of mix 1:4 (1cement: 4coarse sand).

Removing white or colour wash by scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade on new work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm).

Wall painting with two coats premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content less than 50grams/litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour.

Applying priming coat with ready mixed aluminium primer of approved brand and manufacture on resinous wood and plywood.

Applying priming coat with ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacturer on steel galvanised iron/ steel works

Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content with water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade. Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture.

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate) 40mm thick with 20mm nominal size stone aggregate finished with a floating coat of neat cement including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete.

Providing and laying double charge vitrified tile polished finish of size 600 x 600 mm in floor (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand) jointing with grey cement slurry @3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. The tiles must be cut with the zero chipping diamond cutter only. Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily.

Providing and laying Vitrified tiles of size 600x600 mm (thickness to be specified by manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to I.S. 15622, of approved make, in all colours & shade, in skirting, riser of steps, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joint with white cement & matching pigments etc. complete.

Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters 30 mm thick including ISI marked Stainless Steel butt hinges, necessary screws conforming to IS:2202 (Part I) non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters.

Providing and fixing broght finished brass tower bolts (barrel type) of size 250x10mm with necessary screws etc. complete.

Providing and fixing bright finished brass door latch of size 300x16x5mm with necessary screws etc. complete.

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom, and sides with required EPDM rubber / neoprane gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/ panelling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid separately): for shutters of doors, windows and ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket required. Anodised aluminium (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS:1868, minimum anodic coating of grade AC15).

Providing and Fixing 15 mm thick densified tegular edged eco friendly light weight calcium silicate false ceiling tiles of approved texture spintone/ cosmos /Hexa or equivalent of size 595x595 mm in true horizontal level, suspended on inter locking metal grid of hot dipped galvanised steel sections (galvanising @ 120 grams per sqm including both side) consisting of main ‘T’ runner suitably spaced at joints to get required length and of size 24x38 mm made from 0.33 mm thick (minimum) sheet, spaced 1200 mm centre to centre, and cross “T” of size 24x28 mm made out of 0.33 mm (Minimum) sheet, 1200 mm long spaced between main’T’ at 600 mm centre to centre to form a grid of 1200x600 mm and secondary cross ‘T’ of length 600 mm and size 24 x28 mm made of 0.33 mm thick (Minimum) sheet to be inter locked at middle of the 1200x 600 mm panel to from grid of size 600x600 mm, resting on periphery walls /partitions on a Perimeter wall angle pre-coated steel of size(24x24X3000 mm made of 0.40 mm thick (minimum) sheet with the help of rawl plugs at 450 mm centre to centre with 25 mm long dry wall screws @ 230 mm interval and laying 15 mm thick densified edges calicum silicate ceiling tiles of approved texture (Spintone / Cosmos/hexa) in the grid, including, cutting/ making opening for services like diffusers, grills, light fittings, fixtures, smoke detectors etc., wherever required. Main ‘T’ runners to be suspended from ceiling using G.I. slotted cleats of size 25x35x1.6 mm fixed to ceiling with 12.5 mm dia and 50 mm long dashfasteners, 4 mm G.I. adjustable rods with galvanised steel level clips of size 85 x 30 x 0.8 mm, spaced at 1200 mm centre to centre along main ‘T’, bottom exposed with 24 mm of all Tsections shall be pre-painted with polyster baked paint, for all heights, as per specifications, drawings and as directed by engineer-in-charge. Note :- Only calcium silicate false ceiling area will be measured from wall to wall. No deduction shall be made for exposed frames/opening (cut outs) having area less than 0.30 sqm.The calcium silicate ceiling tile shall have NRC value of 0.50 (Minimum), light reflection 85%, noncombustible as per B.S. 476 part IV, 100% humidity resistance and also having thermal conductivity 0.043 w/mK.

Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. including priming coat with approved steel primer all complete. Fixed to steel windows by welding.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size,shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) of total coated thickness 0.50 mm (bse metal of minimum 0.45mm thickness with total coated thickness 0.50mm) with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS:277, in 240mpa steel grade, 5-7 micron epoxy primer on both side of steel and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches while transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

Providing and laying 3mm thik APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, 3mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with glass fibre matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 ltr/sqm. by the same membrane manufactured of density at 25°C, 0.87 - 0.89 kg/ltr and viscocity 70 - 160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc., and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 350/300 N/5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 60/80N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane.

Providing and fixing bright finished brass 100 mm mortice latch and lock with 6 levers and a pair of lever handles of approved quality with necessary screws etc. complete.

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing: 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 coarse sand (zone - III) derived from natural sources: 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size derived from natural sources.)

Providing and fixing 100mm wide Vista (levelor make) or equivalent vertical blinds (dust guard) of approved colour including labour material all complete.

Providing and fixing six levers Godrej door Link lock, Kadi Tala-275mm Pack of 1 key lock with 3 keys for double door-steel finish brown in colour or equivalent.

Disposal of the 2m diameter metal rushted dish with fixtures, which has multiple MS stand of length around 2.5m by cutting into pieces from the roof of third floor to stack yeard of CSIR-CMERI .

Disposal of the unused RCC slab (size around 0.8mx 0.7mx 0.075m) from the roof of third floor to stack yeard of CSIR-CMERI .

Supplying bubble free float glass of approved make and brand conforming to IS: 2835-1987: 6mm thick coloured / tinted /frosted / smoke glass/frosted glass as per instruction of Engineer-in-charge.
