The old Ice Bank Tank coils are corroded and need replacement. The water holding capacity of the tank is apox. 95,000 LTR. The existing coils are spread into for sections. The scope involves removal of old IBT Coils, painting of IBT and some repairing of IBT is also required. Modification of both the Accumulators is also required to improve suction and liquid connections. Necessary repair of Insulation / cladding over the Accumulators shall also be required. The old IBT coils are to be removed by the bidder and new IBT coils to be placed in it. The IBT Coils design shall be the same as existing ones and the apox. Length of new IBT Coils is 2100 RMT. However the interested parties can visit the site for any clarifications. The cleaning of IBT shall be carried out by Milk Union Lalkua after the coils were removed by the contracting Company.

For the application of floor insulation, the surface should be cleaned first, apply a coat of bituminized primer and first layer of Tarfelt with bitumen should be laid down. Then first layer of insulation with bitumen, followed by second layer similarly and finally covering all around with Tarfelt to make it like a sand witch. The Concrete work over the base insulation shall be carried out by the Milk Union Lalkua.
