Gas specific Terminal (Oxygen) outlets with probes/adapters complete as per specifications. All terminal units should conform to BS 5682:1984 (1992). Terminal units intended for installation with the socket axis horizontal, ie wall mounted, include a non-swivel device so that directly connected equipment such as flow meters remain vertical; terminal units intended for installation with the socket axis vertical, for example in certain types of pendant, do not include a non-swivel device.

VACUUM SYSTEM

The Medical Vacuum System shall ensure the minimum pipeline. Vacuum level of 450mmHg is maintained at the plant service connection point at the rated volumetric ‘free air’ flow rate with two pumps in standby. The bacteria filtration system shall be fitted in pipeline. Two Vacuum pumps shall be air-cooled, oil lubricated rotary vane type suitable for both continuous and frequent start/stop operation at nominal inlet vacuum levels of between 570mmHg and 720mmHg approx. Central Vacuum system with Dual Vacuum pump (IR/Aneast-Iwata) of vacuum of 745mm, with three phase Motor 7.5 HP, storage tank of 1000 Litre, and all required accessories vacuum gauge, vacuum pressure switch, Silencer etc. Cascading of vacuum pumps shall be achieved by measuring the vacuum level at the plant inlet with a pressure transducer. A mechanical back-up facility shall ensure continued operation in the event of a control system malfunction. The control system shall normally employ automatic rotation of the lead pump to maximise pump life and ensure even wear.

Vacuum Filter station imported ( Domnick Hunter/ Nitrogenium/Trident Make or equivalent ). These filters are optimised for high-efficient removal of bacterial and other contamination (solids and liquids) from the suction side of vacuum pumps preventing damage to the pump and the potential biological infection of the surrounding environment. Removed liquids are collected in a transparent flask which can be removed for sterilisation.The efficiency of the installed filter elements exceeds the 0,005% penetration specified in HTM 2022 for infectious disease units, when tested in accordance with BS 3928.

Gas specific Terminal (Vacuum) outlets with probes/adapters are designed & manufacturerd as per BS EN13485. Outlets shall be manufactured with a Copper inlet pipe stub which is silver brazed to the outlet body. Body shall be of one piece brass construction. For positive pressure gas services, the outlet shall be equipped with a primary and secondary check valve and the secondary check valve shall have break safe mechanism and also comply to EN 737 pressure test standards and rated at minimum 200 psi in the event the primary check valve is removed for maintenance. The outlet assembly should have separate colour coding for each services and will accept only corresponding gas specific adaptors. All outlets shall be cleaned and de- greased for medical gas service, factory assembled and tested. The medical gas outlets should be of quick connecting and wall mounted modular type.

DISTRIBUTION PIPING (Indigenous) Medical graded Copper pipes( Maxflow/Rajco/Mandev or equivalent) shall be solid drawn, tempered, seamless, phosphorous deoxidized, non- arsenic and degreased for oxygen service. Distribution Copper Pipe manufactured as per BSEN:13348:2001. Adequate supports shall be provided while laying pipelines to ensure that the pipes do not sag. All exposed pipes should be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint and colour codification.

Gas Area Alarm Panel System

Creative Gas Alarm Panel to indicate any abnormality of gas pressures and other failures of the system. The alarm system shall be complete with display, sensor module and power supply. The alarm shall be complete with all indications controls, wirings, accessories etc. complete as required. 2 Gas Alarm Panel with Analog gauge Display & HI-LOW-NORMAL status.

Gas Area VALVE BOX

Area Valve Box - 2 Gas Services with complete fittings, shaddles, Pipes, Gauge Analog, without Valves. Valve box housing must be made of galvanized steel duly powder coated.

ISOLATION VALVE complete. The isolation valves will be Non Lubricated, 900 turn level, Ball type, suitable for oxygen service. All valves shall be pneumatically tested for twice the working pressure and factory degreased for medical gas service before supply.

ACCESSORIES

Oxygen BPC Flowmeter with Humidifier (0-15 litres/minute) with adapter, tubing etc. Back Pressure Compensated flow meter will be of accurate gas flow measurement with following features: Control within a range of 0 – 15 lpm (calibration within +/- 10% ). It will meet strict precision and durability standard. The flow tube and shroud components shall be made of clear, impact resistant polycarbonate. Flow Tube shall have large and expanded 0 – 5 lpm range for improved readability at low flows. The humidifier bottle shall be made of unbreakable polycarbonate material and autoclavable at 121 degree Centigrade temperature.

Ward Vacuum Unit 600mL wall mounted type. Ward Vacuum Unit shall be of light weight and compact. The unit will consist of a regulator, 600 ml Reusable collection jar, made of unbreakable poly carbonate material and fully autoclavable at 134 degree centigrade. A wall bracket for mounting the jar assembly on the wall. The vacuum regulator shall be infinitely adjustable and have vacuum gauge which indicates suction supplied by the regulator. Safety trap shall be provided inside the jar to safeguard the regulator from overflowing.

ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION PANEL (Indigenous):-

Electrical distribution panel based on PLC for controlling of Vacuum Pumps with electrical safety devices. The electrical control panel will be used for cascading of Two vacuum pumps and electrical safety from abnormal electrical supply, single phase preventing system, phase reverse protection. Electrical panel must have display for voltage and indicators.
