Preparation of old plastered or un plastered surfaces of walls including filling the nail holes/depressions and small patches of peeled off plaster of size not exc 0.01 Sqm by using filling compound of white putty to obtain even & smooth finish by using sand paper and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of cement base primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of old decorated plastered or un-plastered surfaces of walls including brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots and filling the nail holes and small patches of peeled off plaster of size not exc 0.01 Sqm by using filling compound of Altek/Birla white putty to obtain even & smooth finish by using sand paper and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of exterior wall by removing existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (wallmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour & T&P required for preparation of surface are demand to be included in the rates quoted. (ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii). All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv) After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building. (v) The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE / AGE (I) (vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of internal wall by application of wall care putty to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper and applying two coats of acrylic distemper over a coat of primer using roller all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) The new surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per manufacture’s instruction before application of distemper The cost of all material T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted . Taking down cement plaster of any description including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and removing unserviceable material,outside cantt area/MOD Land distance not exceeding 1.5 KM complete all as specified and directed.

Writing letters or figures (Block, Roman , Italiac or Indian) n exc. 30 cm high shall be painted with thick paint boldly and solidly all as complete specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per ser item No 1 above but on ceiling in lieu of wall complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers i.e. Ist layer 10mm thick in CM 1:6 and IInd layer 5mm thick in CM 1:4 using water proofing liquid compound as per manufacturer's instructions on other than fair faces brick or concrete surfaces and finishing surfaces even & fair complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Water proofing liquid compound shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L preparation of old distempered surface of wall, plastered cornices etc by washing rubbing down & stopping etc and applying one coat of oil emulsion distemper complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing and applying plaster of paris putty of 1mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old concrete, asbestos or CGI/PGI sheets surfaces of any description exc 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel ordinary tint paint complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old steel and iron surfaces of any description exc 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.
