1 Net Growing Area : 308 Square meters (Excluding parking area) 2 Lenth X Width :28 meters x 11 meters 3 Center Height : 04.5 m 4 Side Height : 02.4 m 5 Wind Load : up-to 150 Km/hrs 6 Structure Design/ Shape: Dome 7 Super Structure: Made of anti-corrosive humidity resistant GI Sq. Pipe, of following sections, structure will have absolute strength to withstand maximum Indian wind load (upto 150 Kms/hrs), complete as per requirement. Pipe standard: G.I., as per B.I.S. thickness: 2.0-2.5 mm, Section Tolerance: ± 3 mm 60 x 60 mm, 70 x 50mm, 48 x 48 mm and 38 x 38 mm, side support: 50 x 25mm. 8 Covering: Roof & sides covered with 8 mm multi wall U.V. stabilized polycarbonate sheet with 80% light transmission fixed with aluminium infra covering section, all edges/ joints will be blocked with silicon sealant to avoid leakages. 9 Front & Back: Provision of UV stabilized poly sheet rolling system 10 Railing System: This structure will race on parallel rail. Rail is made of MS channel (Mild Steel, T section of suitable size), specially designed to resist wind load. Railing system specifically designed conveyer system with rolling mechanism, having multirollers wheels (Shield Steel bearing/ Nylon wheels) for holding and smooth moving of structure to and fro. 11 Main Sliding Structure: This sliding structure should be made of GI pipes of 2mm thick with wheels (fitted with ball bearing system for easy and fast movement) for moving on railing system which can be operated automatically (Power operated motorized rolling mechanism with speed control system) to move the rain out shelter to and fro. Number of wheels and vertical support should be proportional to the load of shed for easy movement of the structure on rails. Housing of the motor and other electrical components in rain protected box/ shade for longer operation. The complete structure is with wheels on railing system which has to be installed on brick wall. 12 Automation/ Manual: The system is equipped with rain sensor (Rain sensor must be reliable with 5-year warranty and hassle-free operation) for automatic operation of shelter. The mechanism should allow manual movement in case of power failure. 13 Electrification: High quality fittings with copper FR Grade wires, MCB with appropriate electrical points for panel, tube light/CFL etc. Electrical cable 16mm 4-core from main/nearby water source to rainout shelter. 14 Water supply/ Plumbing: by providing 3-4 point with ball value including GI pipe line 15-25mm (internal only) as per direction of Institute. 15 Foundation: Vertical pole will be grouted in CC 1:2:4, 45cm above and 90cm below ground level at every 3.0m interval. 16 Wall: 45cm above and 90cm below ground level all sides of growing area and 45 cm above, 45 cm below around parking area, made of stone/ CC blocks/ 1st class bricks of class designated in 1:6 CM (1: cement, 6: coarse sand) exposed wall duly plastered in cement sand mortar. 17 Drainage Channel: Drainage channel (20 cm x 20 cm) made along the foundation wall to avoid the rain water off the experimental area leaving 75m (plinth protection) duly plastered on cement concrete and brick work. 18 ICS-data logger for temperature, humidity & light 19 Earth work: Leveling of two terraces, with 1-2 meter difference in elevation and construction of retaining wall as required. 20 Warranty & Services: At least 3 years of all materials and trouble free services
