Supply of sal wood sleeper suitable for rail track with variable size (1.20x0.25x0.15 to 06.x0.22x0.12 meter) as per direction of Engineer I/C. (Measurement will be taken as per the actual size of the supplied sleeper)

Treatment of available size of sal wood blocks/sleepers with an anti-termite solution of approved brand/quality with chemical emulsion chlorpyriphos emulsifiable concentration of 20%, diluting with MT oil/Kerosene for 1 day and drying. The anti-termite solution will be prepared in (1:20) 1 part of chemical emulsion chlorpyriphos emulsifiable & 20 parts of MT oli/Kerosene. All materials, T&P, PPEs like chemical emulsion chlorpyriphos emulsifiable concentrate of 20%, MT oil, containers, hand gloves, eye goggles, face masks, safety shoes, ear mufflers, caps etc for treatment will be in the contractor's scope. After completion of the anti-termite treatment, all the balance liquid shall be disposed of from the site in the direction of the engineer in charge. (Measurement will be taken as per actual qty. of sal wood blocks/sleeper treated on site in cubic meter).

Laying in potision of available wooden sleeper (max size 1.20x0.25x0.15 m) at P&C change over leaver's sleeper by making hole and fixing it by Nut & bolts, dog spike and related fixtures as per existing & requirements and make the P&C proper operational. Removing of existing wooden sleeper piece of any size by opening of ballast, excavation of earth removing of dog spikies, fixture etc., including all T&P and stacking of old sleeper in BHEL store on designated place as per direction of Engineer Incharge. (Fixtures will be provided free of cost by the BHEL).

Laying in potision of available wooden sleeper (max size 1.20x0.25x0.15 m) at curvature of inner rail of the track by making hole and fixing it by dog spike and related fixtures as per existing & requirements and packing the stone ballast below the wooden sleeper by packing rod & boxing of stone ballast as earlier & direction of Engineer in Charge. Removing of existing wooden sleeper piece of any size laid below the rail track by opening of ballast, removing of dog spikies, fixture etc., including all T&P and stacking of old sleeper in BHEL store on designated place. (Fixtures will be provided free of cost by the BHEL).
