Supply, Fabrication, assembling, riveting, welding, bolting where ever required with contractor's rivet material, weld materials, bolts, HSFG Bolts, Stud shear connectors, service bolts erection and launching of composite girders/ semi-through girders as per UPSBC approved drawings with contractor's Structural steel confirming to IS 2062. All structural steel shall conform to Quality"B0" Grade Designation E250/ E350 specification (Plates less than 12mm thick need not be with normalizing/ normalizing rolling/ controlled rolling) and rivets, nuts and bolts, Stud shear connectors, HSFG bolts, welding etc. including contractor's own material, fabrication machinery, templates, fixtures, equipment, tools and plants approved quality paint, transportation skilled/ unskilled labours, applicable taxes, all lead, lift etc complete. The rates are inclusive of trial assembly, transportation of fabricated girder parts to site by contractor's own means at his own cost. The rate shall also be inclusive of cold straightening of deformed and bent girder parts before their assembling and other ancillary steel structures where ever necessary for proper level and alignment. The rate shall be inclusive of supply, erection and dismantling of staging and scaffolding and other temporary arrangements wherever required for the purpose of assembly, erection and launching of girders. The rate is inclusive of conduction non- destructive tests on butt and fillet welds as per IS codes by Radiography/ Ultrasonic, Magnetic particle test and dye penetration tests and submitting the proper test report to UPSBC with Firm's labour, materials, tools and plants including leading, loading and unloading etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. If the test results obtained are failed, the liability for rectification of the defect lies with the Firm/Agency at his own cost and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Metalizing of the portion of all structural steel members as directed by UPSBC with sprayed aluminium and painting the metalized surface in four coats with approved paint conforming to IS specification and special condition including surface preparation by sand blasting/ copper slag blasting, washed, salt free angular silica sand including handling, rehandling, stacking, with all lead, lift labour and material, plants and equipment, taxes etc. as per Indian railway standard specification for fabrication and erection of steel girder (B1-2001). Appendix VII (Specification for metalizing with sprayed aluminium for bridge girder) Fitting and fixing in position true to line and level Elastomeric bearing/ POT-PTFE bearing consisting of a metal piston supported by a disc of un rainforced elastomer confined within a metal cylinder, sealing rings, dust seals, PTFE surface sliding against stainless steel mating surface, complete assembly to be of cast steel/ fabricated structural steel, metal and elastomer elements complete as per IS 2062, IS:1030, AISI:316, IS:6911, BS:3784, IS:3400, IS:226, BS-5400, Bridge code and as per drawing and approved Technical Specification.

Providing decking system and roof ceiling using decking sheets of BMT (Base Metal Thickness) of 1.2 mm with minimum yield strength of 550 MPA having 275 GSM (Gm/Sqmt) coating on both sides of sheets confirming to AS 1397 as BS EN 10147:2000 similar to LYSAGHT SMARTDEKTM 51 of Tata Blue Scope or equivalent system as per manufacturer's specification including profilling, embossing & fixing with all contractor's men, materials, fasteners, fixtures, equipment, etc complete including working across track above OHE with all lead & lift. This item is to be separately designed for using as decking sheet of deck slabs of ROB in Railway portion and shall be executed throught one of the authorized & experienced agencies mentioned by supplying firm.
