The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they should have completed eligible similar works. Although the exact years of experience are not specified, it is mentioned that the bidder should have successfully completed similar works during the last seven years. In terms of value and percentage of similar works completed, the bidder should have completed works of a similar nature and value to the work being tendered. The conditions for similar completed works are as follows: - Three similar completed works, each costing not less than 40% of the tendered cost. - Two similar completed works, each costing not less than 60% of the tendered cost. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the tendered cost. Additionally, one completed work of similar nature, either part of the above or a separate one, should be with some Central Government Department, State Government Department, Central/State Autonomous Body, or Central/State Public Sector undertaking, costing not less than the mentioned above of the tender cost. The bidder will have to submit a performance guarantee for the rates quoted, up to 10% below the tendered cost, and an additional 1% beyond 10% below the rates of the tendered cost.
