The similar works can be defined in the following ways: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost - Two similar completed works each costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost - One similar completed work each costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost For building works, the number of storeys for the purpose of definition of similar work may be considered based on guidelines such as: - Up to four storey buildings: No binding - Five to ten storey buildings: Minimum one building of Five storeys - Eleven to fifteen storey buildings: Minimum one building of Eight storeys - More than fifteen storey buildings: Minimum one building of Ten storeys The value of similar works completed can be calculated based on the estimated cost. Given the estimated cost of the work put to tender is Rs. 691.36 Lakh, the values for similar works are: - 40% of the estimated cost: Rs. 276.54 Lakh - 60% of the estimated cost: Rs. 414.81 Lakh - 80% of the estimated cost: Rs. 553.00 Lakh The bidder should have an average annual financial turn over (gross) of Rs. 276.54 Lakh on Civil/Electrical construction work during the last three consecutive financial years. For Internal and External EI work, the bidder should be a registered contractor with a valid Electrical Contract License. For CCTV System work, the bidder should have completed: - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the cost of the Component - Or two similar works costing each of not less than 60% of the cost of the Component - Or three similar works costing each of not less than 40% of the cost of the Component The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of not less than 80% of the cost of the component, or two similar works with a value of not less than 60% of the cost of the component, or three similar works with a value of not less than 40% of the cost of the component. The bidder should provide details of all works of similar nature completed during the last seven years, including the cost of the work, date of commencement, and date of completion. The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum, calculated from the date of completion to the last financial year. The bid capacity is calculated based on the value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next 0.5 years, with a minimum value of 2.0 times the current price level. The bidder is required to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract. The amount of Earnest Money Deposit is Rs. 13.83 Lakh. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works such as construction of buildings with a minimum number of storeys. The specific requirements are: * For five to ten storey buildings, the bidder should have completed at least one building of five storeys. * For eleven to fifteen storey buildings, the bidder should have completed at least one building of eight storeys. * For more than fifteen storey buildings, the bidder should have completed at least one building of ten storeys. Each basement, stilt constructed in the building shall be considered as a storey. Two story means 3.00 meter height. The bidder should demonstrate that they have access to, or have available, liquid assets (aggregate of working capital, cash in hand, and uncommitted bank guarantees) and/or credit facilities of not less than 10% of the value of the contract/contracts applied for, certified by the bankers.
