The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works in "Construction of Building Works". The definition of similar work is based on the guidelines provided, which consider the number of storeys in the building. For building work, the bidder should have experience with a minimum of one building of ten storeys or more than fifteen storey buildings. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. For specialized works like pile work, aluminum work, steel structure work, metallic roofing work, and water proofing work, the bidder should have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the cost of this job in tender, - Or two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the cost of this job in tender, - Or one similar work costing not less than 80% of the cost of this job in tender. The bidder should have executed one similar work with a minimum of one basement under one agreement if the work involves construction of two or more basements. The monetary value of specialized E&M services or other works executed under a separate contract may not be added for determining eligibility criteria, but can be considered for assessing technical competence. The estimated cost of the work is Rs. 1415.45 + G.S.T. The bidder's average annual financial turnover during the last 5 years should be at least 30% of the estimated cost. The bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than the work put to tender. The bidder should have experience in works of similar nature, with a list of all works of similar nature successfully completed during the last seven years. The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a specified rate. The bidder should not have incurred any loss in more than two years during the last seven years. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 40% of the estimated cost for three similar completed works, - 50% of the estimated cost for two similar completed works, - 80% of the estimated cost for one similar completed work, - 30% of the estimated cost for the bidder's average annual financial turnover, - 40% of the tendered cost for solvency, - 2.00% of the tendered cost for the earnest money deposit (EMD).
