The panels shall be made of durable and uniform material that shall be easy to clean and extremely hygienic. Operation theatre shall not have any sharp edges, corners and shall not support bacteriological or fungicidal growth and shall be resistant to most chemicals, commonly used in Hospital Departments. Joints in the panels in the operation theatre shall be sealed. The function of sealing shall assure an airtight environment in the room and eliminate services to prevent dust accumulation.
PUF Panel with an overall thickness of 50 mm for wall and 30 mm for ceiling, made of 0.8mm (make-Tata/jindal)GI Front sheet and 0.6mm PPGI back wall with infill of PUF at 40 kg/m3 (40D)which is necessary for mechanical strength. Panels shall be mounted on a structure made of galvanized steel and shall enable the distribution of medical gases, electricity, sewerage inside the wall.
PUF Panel as above has better thermal efficiency and thus saving on energy cost. Proposed system shall be installed at site without any welding.
The partitions shall not have corners; adjacent surfaces shall be molded flush.
Upper wall element shall have sufficient height to reach the lower edge of the prefabricated ceiling. All the sharp edges and corners should be chamfered to avoid bacterial contamination.
The individual ceiling panels shall use the tongue and groove technology for joining two panels, no welding shall be allowed,provides a seamless sub-structure, which is then sanded smooth finished with Metal Putty and then painted using imported anti-fungal paint to give a smooth, non-porous seamless finish and without corners by providing coving on floor as per standard.

Each arm should be capable of 330 – 340 degrees of rotation and be fitted with stops which can be easily adjusted to suit the desired mode of operation.
Infinitely variable rotational stops should be available from 0-330 degree which shall enable precise of limits travel to be set to ensure maximum freedom of movement, whilst protecting walls and ancillary equipment.
The rotational stops shall be dampened such that when limit of travel is reached, sensitive suspended equipment is not subjected to shock or vibration as the kinetic energy is absorbed.
The arms may be fitted with pneumatic brakes or electromechanically breaks to prevent inadvertent movement.
It should be possible to replace all medical gas hoses without the need for onsite crimping of ferrules. All medical gas hoses shall be colour coded to as per standard.
The Pendant Service Heads / Column should be capable of accepting a range of shelves, drawers and infusion poles or other accessories. The Pendant Heads / column should support the range of Physiological Monitor Mounting Solutions. Service head should designed to host, Base, Gas Module, Electric Module and shelves.
