Regular cutting/ clearance of dense jungle and cutting of grass, shrubs and plants, including uprooting of all types of vegetation, bushes, etc. by scrapping of grass, bush wood & plants etc. above 2” over the ground level, weeding out the wild growth of roots, seeds etc. and collection of the foreign materials like kankar, pebbles, waste paper etc. along with uprooting of small wild trees by digging and taking out the complete root; in switchyard area, in the area between pale fencing & chain link fencing, area between pale/chain link fencing & security fencing & security wall including removal of all types of plants/creepers/shrubs on pale fencing and chain link fencing, area around control room/ committee room/ store sheds and open yard store area at the sub- station. After cutting, disposal of all the removed vegetation, rubbish and garbage etc. has to be done away from sub-station premises on Daily basis. Cutting/ uprooting of grass, shrubs, trees and creepers etc. has to be done on regular basis in such a way that height of grass is limited to less than 4” throughout the month in entire Switchyard. In case, any vegetation above the height of 4” from the ground is not attended within 04 days, the portion of that area shall be deemed to be incomplete for that month and shall not be measured. Following optional work may be allowed to be done by Contractor for controlling the wild Growth on no additional charges: Spraying of ‘Round Up/Glycel’ herbicide liquid and

Maintenance of Lawn around Control Room Building Area & Flower Bed along main entrance road at 220 K.V. Sub Station Chinhat as per following detailed works with cost of men, materials, manure, pesticides and T&P etc. required to complete the job satisfactorily with the help of experienced gardener as per requirement / direction of Engineer Incharge : i) Maintenance of lawn grass including weeding out of all undersired growths, watering, trimming etc. using lawn movers or khurpi etc. has under in Col. (A) ii) Upkeep of flower bed approx. 1.0 meter wide by weeding out of all undersired growths, watering, trimming, tilling etc. time to time using khurpi etc. has under in Col. Following cleaning works are to be done at Transmsission Sub Stations - A) Daily Cleaning and Mopping of floors in Substation Control Room Building including following rooms: a)Control Room, b)Conference Room , c)Library, d)Pantry & Staff Room,e)T&C Room, f) Lobby Area, g)Battery Room, h) LT Room, i) Emulsifier Room , j) Compressor Room, k)Hydrant Room l) All Office Rooms etc. B) Daily Brooming at Roads inside and out side Switchyard. from switchyard , Parking area, Main entrance area C) Toilet Cleaning - Daily cleaning of Toilets (Conference Room Washroom, Ladies Washroom, Common Washroom & Guard's Washroom) with Phenyl / Harpic etc. (Common Washroom needs to be clean twice a day) D) Dusting & Cleaning with wet cloth & Phenyl/ Disinfectant Liquid along with cleaning and removing of dirt and spider web from Almirah, windows, doors, tables & chairs and ceiling and walls of all Office Rooms including Committee Room. In addition to the above work Collection of all type of garbage like Dry leaves, dirty clothes,plastic etc. from all over the campus area including cost of all men and material excluding Sundays. Regular Maintenance & Checking of Emulsifier and Fire Hydrant Systems including Pre- summer Maintenance at Substation as per following Detail with all cost of Men, T&P, Consumables etc. For satisfactory completion of the work: Regular Maintenance & Operational Checking of Emulsifier & Hydrant Systems by carrying out following activities on a regular basis by providing skilled workman (01 No. for each Sub Station) who shall be readily available at all times and shall be responsible for following works including additional manpower as needed: -

Regular Maintenance & Operational Checking of Emulsifier System & Hydrant Systems (comprising of electrical pump, diesel engine, jockey pump and associated pipelines and valves etc.) for T/Fs and Bus/Line Reactors as per standard practices: i. Daily checking of water leakage from main and auxiliary pipelines, valves, glands, sensors and other equipments. Any water leakage observed shall be notified to site-in charge and attended within 24 hours. ii. Ensuring optimum level of water in water reservoir. iii. Ensuring priming of Main Pump Jockey Pump and Diesel Engine and ensuring proper level of water in priming tank at all times. iv. Observation of frequency of operation of Jockey Pumps and attending if any abnormalities are found. v. Ensuring smooth operation of Main Pumps, Diesel Engine, Jockey Pumps etc. ensuring their self-starting as per respective pressure-switch settings. vi. Regular maintenance of Diesel Engine Set including cleaning, checking and recording voltage and specificgravity of battery, attending any oil leakage, lubrication of all moving parts and checking and tightening of all terminal connections. vii. Weekly checking of automatic operation of Emulsifier System for both electrical and diesel pumps. Healthiness of all automation systems for smooth operation shall be ensured. viii. Upkeep and maintenance of Battery Charger, and control panel of Diesel-Engine and refilling of diesel in diesel engine (Diesel to be provided by department). ix. Attending any breakdowns in- Control Panels, Indication Panels, Main Electrical Pump, Jockey Pump, headers, complete pipe line, Deluge Valves, piping ring-mains of transformers/reactors and battery sets- with all associated work and replacement of all kinds of valves, pressure switch, gaskets, pipes, quartz bulbs using spare to be provided by Department. Note: All the activities and works done shall be duly recorded by the workman in a register to be always kept at site. Failing to keep a record of any activity/work shall be deemed as non-completion of work for that month. (01 Job each for each S/S)

One time pre-summer overhauling and servicing of complete above mentioned emulsifier system and fire hydrant systems at Substation including following- i. Cleaning of all the pipelines, valves and water reservoir. ii. Replacement of all the gaskets and glands (to be provided by department) of all the valves and joints e.g. Foot Vales, Butter Fly Valves, Gate Valves. iii. Checking and replacement of all the defective valves, pressure switches, pressure gauges, electrical coils/switches/contactors, temperature sensors, spray nozzles. (All the items to be replaced shall be provided by the department). iv. Scrapping off of old paint and re-painting of all the pipelines and connecting pipes from emulsifier room to each equipment (excluding ring-mains around transformers/ reactors) in their respective colours, by proper application of one-coat of primer and two-coats of best quality paint to be provided by the Agency. (01 Job each for each S/S)

Maintenance and upkeep of Duct Air Conditioner system / Split-Window Air conditioners including repairing , Servicing & Overhauling along with all associated work required for satisfacotry round the clock running of AC System with all cost of men , material, misc. consumables , T&P, cost of transportation for repairs as needed etc. including follwoing works as and when required (1 Job per month). a) Regular/Periodic Cleaning of filters , cooling coils ,indoor / outdoor condensor fins including pressure cleaning by air/ water , brazing of coils, checking of copmpressor operation , replacement of fabric / polyfiber filter of indoor unit and general cleaning for satisfactory operation of the unit b) Topping up of Refrigerant Gas. c) Complete filling of Refrigerant Gas after checking , attending leakage by necessary pre-testing , brazing , testing by pressuring with N2 Gas including necessary dismantling and re-assembling d) Replacement of Damaged Compressor by new one of same make.

Cleaning and maintenance of Cable Trenches in 220/132 KV Switchyard.
