The required prior work experience for the bidder can be demonstrated by one of the following conditions: - One similar completed work costing not less than an amount equal to 80% of the Bid Value. - Two similar completed works costing not less than an amount equal to 50% of the Bid Value each. - Three similar completed works costing not less than an amount equal to 40% of the Bid Value each. This indicates that the bidder should have experience in executing similar works with a total value of at least 80% (for one work), 100% (for two works), or 120% (for three works) of the bid value. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - One work: 80% of the bid value - Two works: 50% of the bid value each, totaling 100% of the bid value - Three works: 40% of the bid value each, totaling 120% of the bid value Additionally, the bidder's experience is also assessed through their financial capability, technical staff, and available bid capacity. The financial capability is evaluated based on their average annual financial turnover during the last three consecutive financial years, which should be at least 30% of the bid value, and their current liquid assets should be 15% of the bid value. For example, for a work having a bid value of Rs. 306.75 lacs, the average annual financial turnover should be at least 30% of this value, and the liquid assets should be at least 15% of this value. The bidder must have on their payroll a Degree Engineer and a Diploma Engineer. The available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the current price level, and should be equal to or more than the total bid value.
