Online Application Module to Submit Request for Issuance of License for Manufacturing, Storage, Transport and Sale of Fire Works & Explosives to be developed as per the Explosive Rules 2008 as published in Gazette of India on 31.12.2008 by Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion A.3.1 Fire Works : • Manufacturing Licenses • License to manufacture fireworks or gunpowder or both not exceeding 15 kilograms at any one time. •License to manufacture fireworks or gunpowder or both exceeding 15 Kilograms but not exceeding 500 Kilograms at any one time. • License to manufacture fireworks or gunpowder (or both exceeding 500 Kilograms at any one time. • Storage Licenses • License to store Gunpowder upto 15 Kg (LE-2) • License to store Fire Works upto 5000 Kg (LE-3) • Storage and Sale from shop • License to store and sell from shop for manufactured fireworks of class 7 division 2 subdivision 2 Chinese Cracker and Sparklers • Storage for Public Display •License to store and use of Fire Works for Public Display A.3.2 Explosives : • Manufacturing Licenses • License to manufacture at site, ANFO explosives not exceeding 200 Kilograms at any one time. • License to manufacture liquid oxygen explosives (LOX). • License to manufacture site mixed explosives (SME). • License to manufacture explosives other than fireworks, gunpowder, ANFO,LOX & SME • Storage Licenses • License to store explosives for use, for agricultural purpose or in small quarry, explosives not exceeding 25 kilograms of Class 1, 2 or 3; 1500 numbers detonators; 1500 meters of Detonating Fuse or Safety Fuse at any one time in a magazine. • Storage for Sale • License to possess for sale of explosives of Class 1,2,3,4, 5,6 or 7 in a magazine. • Storage for Use • License to possess for Use of explosives of Class 1,2,3,4, 5,6 or 7 in a magazine. • Storage and Transport •License to store and transport of explosives of Class 2 and 3 upto 25 Kg • Storage and Sale from shop • License to store and sell from shop of small arms nitro compound upto 25 Kg • License to store and sell from shop of Pyro technic device explosives of class 6 division 1 upto 2000 No • Transport • License to transport explosive in a road van (LE-7) • License to Import and Export explosives other wise by hand (LE-8) • License to manufacture, sell, use etc. of explosives not provided in article 1 to 8 (LE-9)
