FABRICATION, METALIZING, PAINTING & TRANSPORTATION OF 6X76.2M SPAN FOR BRIDGE OVER RIVER GANGA AT ALLAHABAD

Fabrication of 76.2m girder components in black condition as per the enclosed specification of the fabricated girder, the latest edition of B1 2001, IRS Code & IS Specifications. Trial Assembly & dismantling, stacking etc. complete with Steel of E-250 Gr. B0, E-410 B0, Cu, Pipes as per IS:1161 (supply by BBJ free of cost against BG as per an order at successful bidder’s workshop), HSFG Bolts, if any (supply by BBJ free of cost at successful bidder’s workshop), all materials, machinery, tools & tackles, consumables, energy/power, all leads and lifts, labour etc. complete in all respect as per approved drawings & specifications, relevant clauses of the NIT, order and RDSO Guidelines. The fabrication cost shall include all the types of stiffeners, packing’s, diaphragm, T&F bolts, steel drifts, all types of shop welds as per drawings and specifications, testing of welds including ultrasonic test & radiography test of butt welds, DP Test, micro etching etc., shop rivets/bolts, templates, jigs, fixtures, back up supports, accessories. The job includes trial assembly of one span girder at the shop as per approved drawings (to be provided by BBJ and/or RVNL and/ or RDSO) and transportation of girders in roadworthy packaging to BBJ site (Jhusi/ Daraganj, near Prayagraj/Allahabad, UP after painting as per item (c). The rate shall include all material testing, preparation of WPSS and getting it approved by RDSO or any other agency as decided by the BBJ and/or RVNL. No part of the work shall be painted or coated, packed or dispatched until it has been finally inspected and approved by the inspecting officer/ agency as per QAP. The rate shall also include the cost of approval by RDSO/any other agency as decided by the BBJ and/or RVNL. All other relevant guidelines shall be followed. The rate shall include all activities for delivering the end product. In brief, the fabrication includes but not limited to cutting, shaping, drilling holes, welding of components, welding consumables, all inspection and testing of raw materials (except Ultrasonic testing of raw steel which is to be paid separately), fabrication process and fabricated material; connections of all the types of ties, stiffeners, packing, diaphragm, steel drifts, shop welding including radiography, ultrasonic, DP testing, shop rivets, templates, jigs, fixtures, back up supports, accessories etc. and marking each member for site identification and transporting various components from contractor's fabrication Yard/workshop to bridge site near Prayagraj/ Allahabad (Jhusi/ Daraganj), UP in packages, bundles and other means with due care and safeguards, as described in the NIT/ tender document/ order/ contract conditions and as described in the contract conditions and specifications, and as directed/approved by engineer of BBJ and/ or RVNL and/ or RDSO and their authorised agencies/ representatives including loading, unloading, sorting member -wise systematic matching etc. complete with agency’s / fabricator’s/ sub-contractor's own labour, material, tools & plants including all lead, lift and taxes complete in all respect based on approved detailed drawings issued by BBJ from time to time. All work related to fabrication of girder components are to be done as per approved drawing, specification and as per direction of BBJ and/or RVNL and/ or RDSO and/or their authorised representative. All the girder components should be clearly marked with the erection number and name of the component before despatch.

Carrying out Ultrasonic testing of all structural steel plates (12mm thick and above) in the subcontractor's fabrication workshop with sub-contractor's testing equipment, manpower and all other arrangements complete item as per relevant codes and direction/approval of the Engineer of BBJ and/ or RVNL and/or RDSO and/ or their authorised agency/ representatives
