The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works during the last 07 years. The specific requirements are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. - Or, two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. - Or, one similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder should have prior work experience in similar works, which includes electrification of service buildings, stafi quarters, offices, road and colony lighting, rewiring of quarters and service buildings, earthing arrangements, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical Sub-stations, laying of HT and LT cables. For subcontractors, the requirement is to have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The total value of work to be assigned to a subcontractor should not be more than 50% of the total contract value. The bidder should submit a work experience certificate issued by a Government Department/Organisation or a Public listed company with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years, excluding the current financial year. The work experience certificate issued by a Public listed company should be supported by a relevant copy of the work order, bill of quantities, bill-wise details of payment received, TDS certificates for all payments received, and a copy of the final/last bill paid by the company. Substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. In case a work is started prior to 7 years but completed in the last 7 years, the completed work shall be considered for fulfillment of credentials.
