Providing design mixed Reinforced Cement Concrete produced from approved microprocessor controlled automatic batching plant for RCC bridge work with Maximum aggregate size of 20mm crushed graded stone aggregate and River sand of approved quality including all lead & lift, dewatering, weigh batching, mechanical mixing, compaction, curing including using all types of form work, shuttering, centering, scaffolding, providing necessary arrangement for fixing OHE mast & bolts etc. complete with all contractors labour, cement, material, construction chemicals such as plasticizer, retarder etc, plants & machineries with all lead & lift complete as per technical specifications. Reinforced Cement Concrete of M-35 grade in pile caps, pier/abutment,pier cap, bed blocks and pedestal of bridge substructures( Minimum cement content 400 kg per cum & Maximum W/C ratio 0.4) Note : 1. This item will be operated where concreting will be done over area covered by water including abutment A-2 with its monolithic U-shape wing / return wall. 2. Rate is inclusive of cement, material, construction chemicals such as plasticizer, retarder etc, and no extra payment will be made for itt. 3. Reinforcement steel will be paid under relevant NS item. 4. Minimum cement content in concrete shall be 400 kg per cum and maximum water content ratio 0.40. 5. Rate includes execution of all temporary works like approach / connecting road any earthwork/ cofferdam, arranging self-propelling barges for mounting crane, jack up platforms for mounting hydraulic rig and transporting required men/ machinery/ construction materials etc. by boats or any other means what- so-ever. 6.The work has to be executed in standing/flowing water of River Dhasan having dam reservoirs on both up and down streams of the bridge. The HFL is about 13m high from the bed level resulting in to standing/ flowing water of substantial height. 7. All temporary arrangements and works shall be designed and necessary drawings/scheme/methodology duly proofed checked by IIT shall be developed and got approved by Railways to ensure that these arrangements remain safe during construction. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. 8. After completion of work released materials of temporary arrangements will be the property of the contractor and same shall be cleared off from the work site. 9. Concreting at the pile/pier, abutment location has to be done using concrete pumps/boom and no extra payment will be done on this account. 10. Payment for retaining wall / ballast wall / toe wall / drain or etc. shall be paid under relevant SOR items.
