Providing and burying of earth electrode of 40 mm dia 'B' class GI pipe of 3.0 Mtrs long having 12 mm dia holes spaced 75 mm apart drilled upto 2 mtrs length from the bottom 1 including 340 mm wide pit is to be dug upto the depth of not less than 3750mm. The earth electrode lowered in the pit thereafter refilling of pit is to be done with 30mm alternate layer of salt and charcoal upto 2.5 Mtrs. Pit is to be made of not less than 40 x40x30 cms from inside & precast RCC cover of 40mm thick with lifting arrangement shall confirm to CEE/NR specification No. NR/Elect/Wiring/1-84 and Drg. No. Sr.DEE/G/ALD 10/94.
