Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables etc. i/c excavation for sockets depth upto 1.5m i/c getting out the excavated materials, returning the soil as required in layers not exceeding 20cm. in depth i/c consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within lead of 50 m. The Contractor has to detect different utilities like sewer line, water supply line, electric cable, telephone cable, gas pipe line etc. using utility detecting machine before start of excavation and shall start excavation only after getting permission of Engineer-in-Charge. a) Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 80 mm dia but not exceeding 300 mm dia. P/L following size of Finolex makes PVC pipes 6 Kg/Cm2 with required PVC standard special confirming to IS codes with latest amendment and lowering the same treches and laying true to alignment and gradient complete i/c the cost of cutting of pipes for making upto length and making joints i/c cost of socket, plstochem PV-85 PVC solvent cement complete.
