Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables etc. i/c excavation for sockets depth upto 1.50 m i/c getting out the excavated materials, returning the soil as required in layers not exceeding 20 cm. in depth i/c consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within lead of 50 m. The Contractor has to detect different utilities like sewer line, water supply line, electric cable, telephone cable, gas pipe line etc. using utility detecting machine before start of excavation and shall start excavation only after getting permission of Engineer-in-Charge. 4.01) Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 80 mm dia but not exceeding 300 mm dia. P/L following size of PVC pipes 6 Kg/Cm2 with required PVC Standered special conferming to IS code with latest amendment and lowering the same trenches and laying true to alignment and gradient complete i/c the cost of cutting of pipes for making upto length and making joints i/c cost of socket, plastochem PV-85 PVC solvent cement complete. PVC Pipe must be confermed IS:4985-2000 with latest amendment. Finolex/Kisan/Supreme Make (NSI-1.3) 160 mm dia 6 Kg/cm2

P/F Sluice Valve shall generally conform to IS 14846 with latest amendment, with length over flanged as per PD of IS 14846 corresponding to BS EN-558/ISO 5752 Basic series 3 in CI construction having metal seating (IS 318 Gr.
