Under the Technical Capacity header, the important information related to prior work experience includes: * The Bidder shall have received payments for construction of Eligible Project(s), or has undertaken construction works by itself in a PPP project, such that the sum total thereof is more than Rs.351.90 crore and Rs.347.70 crore. * At least one similar work of 20% of Estimated Project Cost should have been completed from the Eligible Projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3. * For normal Highway projects, the similar work experience should be of Rs.70.38 Crore and Rs.69.54 Crore. * The Bidder should have completed more than 90% of the value of work, and the completed value of work should be equal to or more than 20% of the estimated project cost. * The Threshold Technical Capacity should be as follows: - For Normal Highway Project: - Estimated Project Cost <= 100 Crore: 0.75 times of EPC - Estimated Project Cost > 100 Crore & <= 500 Crore: 1 times of EPC - Estimated Project Cost > 500 Crore: 1 times of EPC - For Stand-alone specialized projects (Major Bridges/ROB/Flyover/Tunnel): - Estimated Project Cost <= 100 Crore: 0.75 times of EPC - Estimated Project Cost > 100 Crore: 1.0 times of EPC - Estimated Project Cost > 500 & <= 1000 Crore: 1.0 times of EPC - Estimated Project Cost > 1000 Crore: 1.0 time of the estimate project cost or Rs. 1000 crore, whichever is less * One similar work of 20% of Estimated Project Cost should have been completed from the Eligible Projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3 individually by any of the JV members as a single work. * Experience (Equivalent Rs. crore) * Technical Experience * Payments received for construction of Eligible Projects in Categories 3 & 4 * Value of self-construction in Eligible Projects * A factor of 0.5 (zero point five) is mentioned for the Technical capacity in respect of an Eligible Project situated in a developed country which is a member of OECD, and a factor of 0.75 is mentioned for Construction in core sector that qualify under a specific clause. * The conversion rate of USD into Rupees shall be the daily representative exchange rates published by the Reserve Bank of India for the relevant date, where the relevant date should be as on the date 28 days prior to the Application Due Date. * The factor for the year for updating to the price level is indicated as under: Year-1: 1.05, Year-2: 1.10, Year-3: 1.15, Year-4: 1.20, Year-5: 1.20.Similar work or eligible projects for technical capacity experience include: - Widening/reconstruction/up-gradation works on NH/SH/Expressway or any category of road taken under CRF, ISC, EI, SARDP, LWE. - Widening/reconstruction/upgradation works on MDRs with loan assistance from multilateral agencies or on BOT basis. - Widening/reconstruction/upgradation works of roads in Municipal corporation limits, construction of Bypasses. - Construction of standalone bridges, ROBs, tunnels. - Construction/reconstruction of linear projects like airport runways, railways (construction/reconstruction of railway tracks, yards for keeping containers etc.) Metro rail and ports (including construction/re-construction of Jetties). The values and percentages mentioned are: - At least one similar work of 20% of Estimated Project Cost [Rs.70.38 Crore (Rs. Seventy crore Thirty Eight Lakhs)] shall have been completed from the Eligible Projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3. - More than 90% of the value of work has been completed and such completed value of work is equal to or more than 20% of the estimated project cost. Also, - At least one similar work of 20% of Estimated Project Cost [Rs.69.54 Crore (Rs. Sixty Nine crore Fifty Four Lakhs)] shall have been completed from the Eligible Projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3. - A project shall be considered to be completed, if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed and such completed value of work is equal to or more than 20% of the estimated project cost.
