Note against Item No 01 to 06: (a)The prepatory and application work pertaing to prediocal services & Water Proofing shall be excuted from authorized applicator duly cerified by manufacturer of the Paint, Distemper, Putty etc. Before execution of work necessary approval shall be taken from AGE(I) with all documentary evidances. (b) Where the items executed upto 10 mtr height, necessary scaffolding, props, jacks, shuttering and ladder shall be provided by the contractor in his own arragement and the same is included in unit rates quoted. Green cloth shall be provided all around the work site for any position/height with all safety precaution (i.e. Safety Jacket, Safety Shoes , Safety Marks, Safety Halmet, Safety Safety harness, Safety Goggles etc) Without safety precaution this work not been commenced as decided by Engineer-in- Charge/ by AGE(I). NO extra cost shall be paid for such precaution. Such precaution shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c) The contractor shall enter a 'Memorandum of Understanding ' (MOU) duly notarised (not later than 03 months old) with manufacturer mentioned in the Contranct Agreement. Work shall only be commenced when MoU shall be submitted by the Contractor. Validity of MOU shall be valid during the currency of the work. However during defect liability period if any defect noticed contractor shall only be responsible for rectification of the same. (d) Insurance for each worker shall be provided during currency of the work.same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (e) Masking/covering of window/doors during spray painting using polythine film shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (f) No payment for additional height shall be paid to the contractor. (g) Cleaninng and clearing site of paint, mats etc. are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (h) Completion of the work will not be issued without proper cleaning of site as per direction of AGE(I) or by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Material and labour for waterproof cement based putty @ 1 Kg (undiluted ) per sq mtr. of average thickness 1mm over the plastered/old painted wall after scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 Grit or above to make the surface free from dust etc. by skilled labour as per following steps:- Step 1 - Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute. Step 2 - Apply the first coat the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minutes with a maximum pressure 3300 PSI Step 3- Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface. Make of Manufacturer : ASIAN/ BERGER/ NEROLAC or equivalent make as mentioned in Appx 'B'.

M & L for preparation of new surface and applying two coats of Oil bound distemper on walls over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for one coat of acrylic water based interior grade primer @ 0.8 Itrs (undiluted ) /10 sq mtrs diluted with water 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 Itr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI . Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as speified and directed. Make of Manufacturer: ASIAN/BERGER/ NEROLAC or equivalent make as mentioned in Appx 'B'.

M & L for preparation of old surface and applying one coat of Oil bound distemper on walls complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Complete removal of existing treatment on wall/roof projections including facia, cornices etc by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) with sanding pad of appropriate grit to make surface clean, free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for two coat water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon addictive & Color stay Technology Excellent Dirt Pick up resistance with low VOC less than 50 gram/litre as per the LEEDS specification, Anti Algal properties in two coats @ 1.79 Ilt (undiluted)/ 10 sqm diluted with water as per manufacturer instructions applied overpriming coat with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 Itr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI and complete all as specified and directed.. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in both the coats of paint with using auto roller for making the surface uniform complete all as directed. Material and labour for one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade primer @ 0.9 Itrs (undiluted ) /10 sq mtrs diluted with water 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 Itr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as speified and directed. Make of Manufacturer: ASIAN/BERGER/ NEROLAC or equivalent make as mentioned in Appx 'B'.

M & L for preparation of old surface of wall including cornices and apply one coat of cement based paint etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of old treated steel surfaces of any description, not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed Make: ASIAN - APCOLITE PAINTS/ SHALIMAR- SUPERLAC/ J&N- BOROLAC BRAND/ BERGER - LUXOL BRAND or equivalent make as mentioned in Appx 'B'.

Material and labour for preparation of old treated wood and wood based surfaces of any description, not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed Make: ASIAN - APCOLITE PAINTS/ SHALIMAR- SUPERLAC/ J&N- BOROLAC BRAND/ BERGER - LUXOL BRAND or equivalent make as mentioned in Appx 'B'.

Supply only intergal water proofing compound.

M & L rendering 15 mm thick in cement plaster 1:4 with WPC (@ 3%by weight of cement) on fair faces of brick wk or concrete surface finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement. Note:- WPC shall be measured & paid seprately.

M & L preparation of new plastered surfaces on walls and applying two coats of cement base paints over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Taking down cement plaster on brick/stone surface of wall built in cement mortar including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying two coats of oil bound distemper using Airless spray technology with max working pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single sparay gun with a max material hose length of 30 mtr the spray machine should be of reputed by paint manufacturer as mentioned in PS and acessories for applying distemper should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of distemper on the surface with using auto roller for making the surface uniform complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500-2700 rpm, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer.
