Note :- Debris obtained from all items should be removed in low lying areas as directed by Engr-in-charge out of MOD Land. (Rates quoted for items are deemed to be included for this, where removal of debris in the items is not considered.)

M & L for Water proof cement based putty average thickness 2 mm over the plastered/old prepared painted surface of wallow and sanding the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 grit or above to make the surface free from dust etc. by skilled labour as per the following steps :- Step 1 :- Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacture's instruction and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute. Step 2 :- Apply the first coat of the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application finishing the surface even and smooth in level without and undulations. Step 3 :- Allow 6-8 hrs. time to dry the putty surface

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or concrete surface including racking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed

Complete removing of existing treatment on wall/roof projections including facia, cornices etc. by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 grit having dia of 7"/9" to make free from dust, loose paint etc. by skilled labour, complete all as specified and directed

M&L preparing old painted wooden surface of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 15mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 using waterproofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement on other than fair faces of brick walls or concrete surfaces and finishing surface even and fair complete all as specified and directed. Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Note for item No. 1 to 3 :- The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :- (a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorized applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc. after approval by AGE (I). (b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover 1 "Memorandum of Understanding" (MoU) with at least one of the manufactures mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be liable to be rejected. (c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc. necessary for execution of work and protective measures (d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc. (e) Work in patches and in narrow/widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc. and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors fittings etc. to protect them from splashes. (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fitting, wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Sample patch of 10 Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from AGE (I) prior carrying out further work.

M&L for preparation of new surface of wall including cornices etc. by washing, rubbing down and stopping of surfaces, and applying finishing walls with premium acrylic smooth exterior paint with silicone additives of required shade : New work (two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr / 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/ 10 sqm) of approved shade on new surface of wall complete all as specified and directed., Make : Asian Paints (Base coat of Apex ultima duralife and top coat of Apex Ultima ) through authorized applicator only including use of scaffoldings any storeys bldgs complete all as specified and directed. Make: Asian Paints / Berger Paints / Nerolac / Shalimar paints as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.
