The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works in the last 7 years. The requirements for similar works completed are as follows: - Three similar completed works, each costing not less than Rs………Crores (40% of estimated cost) - OR Two similar completed works, each costing not less than Rs…..........Crores (60% of estimated cost) - OR One similar completed work, each costing not less than Rs…............ Crores (80% of estimated cost) The bidder should also have an average annual turnover worth a minimum of 40% of the estimated cost during the last five consecutive years. Additionally, the bidder should have completed similar nature of works during the last seven years previous to the last date of submission of bid. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in Civil Engineering construction, with a total value of work performed in the last five years amounting to a certain value in Rs. Crore, indexed to the current price level at a 10% increase. The bidder should provide information on the project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract (in Rs. Crore), date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. The value of the work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated subcontractor will be considered, provided the subcontract involved the execution of all main items of work described in the bid document, and all other qualification criteria are satisfied. The bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than the estimated cost of the work put to tender, calculated using the formula: Bidding Capacity = {[AxNxM]-B}, where A = Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works, M = 2.0, and B = Value of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next 1.5 years. The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work done at a simple rate of 10% per annum. The bidder should also submit an undertaking that the bidder will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of contract value of work, during implementation of work. The bidder should also demonstrate that he has access to, or has available, liquid assets (aggregate of working capital, cash in hand and uncommitted bank guarantees) and/or credit facilities of not less than 10% of the value of the contract/contracts. The list of eligible similar nature of works completed should be submitted as per Annexure-7 and the bid capacity shall be calculated as per Annexure-8. The percentages of similar works completed are 40%, 60%, and 80% of the estimated cost. The amount for similar works completed is not less than Rs………Crores, Rs…..........Crores, and Rs…............ Crores respectively. The average annual turnover should be a minimum of 40% of the estimated cost during the last five consecutive years. The bidder should have access to liquid assets and/or credit facilities of not less than 10% of the value of the contract/contracts and should be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of contract value of work.
