The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed works of similar type and magnitude. The bidder must be a well-established contractor with at least five years of experience and capability in construction of similar civil engineering work. The bidder should have Average Annual Financial turnover in Civil Engineering works of not less than 30% of the estimated value of work during the last 3 years financial years. The bidder should also have Annual Financial turnover in Civil Engineering works of Equal to or more than the estimated value of work in any one year during the last 5 financial years. The bidder should have completed similar works, with a quantity of concrete executed per year in the last Five years in any work under Central/State Govt. or in P.S.U. of India. The bidder is required to provide details of their working fields, including the quantity of concrete executed per year in the last five years. The bidder should also have Assessed Available Bid Capacity greater than the Estimated Value of the work, derived using the formula (2 x A x N)-B, where A is the Maximum Value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last Five years. The bidder is also required to invest a minimum of 25% of the tendered value of the work during the implementation of the contract.
