The required prior work experience for the bidder includes executing works or supplying materials in areas such as river revetment work, construction of spillway or dam, or type of hydraulic structure on major rivers in alluvial soil and on hard rock. The bidder should have executed works or supplied materials in the last three years. The bidder should have experience of having successfully completed similar nature of civil works during the last 7 years, with the following requirements: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as a percentage of the estimated cost, which includes: - 40% for three similar completed works - 50% for two similar completed works - 80% for one similar completed work No specific amount is mentioned as a requirement for the bidder's prior work experience. However, the bidder's experience in executing civil engineering works is considered, and the value of these works is taken into account for calculating the bid capacity. The maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years is considered for calculating the bid capacity.
