Schedule – III (Channel Stabilizing Works at Raghunathpur Ch 1194 KM)

Construction of Bamboo Submerged Vane of 12.0m length, with high quality bamboos (preferably Bhaluka/ Harauti) of average 6.0m length and 18-23 cm circumference at 45 Centimeter above from bottom consisting of average 150 bamboos in each vane installed atleast 3m inside the riverbed by water jetting close to each other and some minimal gaps is acceptable or in other words the vanes need not be impervious. The angle of vane with dominant flow as prescribed in the design should be between 180 - 200 complete as per drawing and instructions of Engineer-In- Charge. The leading 3m long portion of the vane should be tapered at 450 angle after complete installation of a vane using appropriately a saw or any other convenient tool. The contract comprises of supply, erection and supervision of bamboo submerged vanes and other allied works with all material, cartage, labour, boats, machinery, tools, taxes, levies, duties, etc. as specified in the contract.

Erection and fixing of balli screen of 6m length with a gap of 10m towards the flow and 5m across the flow of river and should be driven atleast 3m driven in staggered layout alignment with respect to flow direction as per the drawing and directions of EIC. The contract comprises of supply, erection and supervision of balli screen with all material, cartage, labour, boats, machinery, temporary and permanent works, taxes, levies, duties, etc. as specified in the contract.
