Dense Bituminous Macadam using Hot Inplant Technology Application Hot in plant recycling technology to strengthening of existing wearing course upto 60 mm thickness as per MORTH specification (Section 519 -mainly clause no. 519.4.2 and 519.6) conforming to grading of specification. Bitumen and virgin asphalt in following proportion:- (i) Fresh Bituminous concrete conforming to Grading Specification @ 70% of addition of total mix other then recycled. (ii) Bitumen VG-30 for Bitumen @ 5.5% of by weight of fresh aggregates. (iii) Binder @ 2% by weight of mix.

Recycling pavement by cold milling of existing bituminous layers, planning the surface after cold milling, reclaiming excavated material to the extent of 30 per cent of the required quantity, hauling and stockpiling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carring out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in a hot mix plant, transporting and laying at site and compacting to the rquired grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause 519. Providing and laying dense graded bitumen macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder 60/70 @ 4.25% of mix and filler transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level, and alignment rolling with smooth, wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause 507 complete in all respects. Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) Providing and laying Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) as per MoRTH specification using crushed stone aggregate of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and lime filler and cellulose fiber transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tendem rollers to achives the desired compaction and density as per MoRTH specification (5th revision), complete in all respects and as per direction of Enginnering in charge. (I) 50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30/VG-40 @ 5.8-6.0% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 10% (percentage by weight of aggregate) as per MoRTH and cellulose fiber pellets @ 0.3% by weight of total mix are used and prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity.
