Loading, transportation of Precast RCC Girders / Slabs / Ballast retainers / Steel Girders etc. from Casting Yard to Site of Work, unloading and stacking at site of work at prescribed location as directed by Engineer-in-Charge above 60 kms : Above 200 Km.

Fabrication of Box Type Members (Like Top Chord, Bottom Chord, End Raker, Diagonals and other similar members except which are covered under Schedule-A2 below) of 61 m & 30.5 m span Open Web Steel Bridge Girder (welded type) as per RDSO drawing and approved QAP/WPSS/ WPQR, conforming to IRS-B1-2001 and other relevant codes and specifications at Engineering Workshop, Plant Depot, DDU by RDSO approved vendors only with Structural Steel supplied by Railway. The item includes Shop welding, SAW, Bolts, Drifts, Templates, Jigs, Fixtures (Fabrication and Payment for Jigs/Fixtures/Templates will be made as per Schedule-A2 below), machinery, equipment, electricity, tools and plants accessories, labour, all consumables and handling various components during fabrication. Railway will provide Raw Material (Steel) like MS Plates, Flats, Angles, 1 Channels etc. only free of cost required for fabrication of Girder components to the contractor. For payment purpose, nominal weight of the girder as per drawing will only be considered. Note : a.Only Steel for fabrication will be provided by Railway, Contractor has to execute all fabrication work under this item. b.Fabrication is to be done in PD/DDU as per relevant RDSO Drawings/Referred drawings therein or as per any other approved drawing. c.Fabrication work is to be done according to IRS-B1-2001 with latest correction slips/updated, Welded Bridge Code etc. as per approved QAP, WPSS & WPQR and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Weld testing/DPT etc. will be done by the Contractor as per approved QAP/ WPSS/ WPQR at his own cost. Contractor has to submit QAP, WPSS & WPQR as per drawings mentioned in Note at S. No. b above for approval by competent authority in Railway. Railway may make suitable alterations in QAP and WPSS submitted by contractor, if needed at any stage and work will have to be carried out as per QAP/WPSS approved by Railway.

Fabrication of all types of Welded Plate Girders and other similar I-Components of Welded Open Web Girder of 61 m Span & 30.5 m Span with Structural Steel supplied by Railway, as per RDSO drawings & approved QAP/WPSS/WPQR and drawings, conforming to IRS-B1-2001, Welded Bridge codes etc. and other relevant codes and specifications at Bridge Workshop, Plant Depot, DDU by RDSO approved vendors only. The item includes fabrication of all types of battens, gussets, bracings, ties, stiffeners, packing, diaphragms, bracings and other small components 61 m span OWG. Fabrication work includes Shop welding, SAW, Bolts, Drifts, Templates, Jigs, Fixtures (Payment for Fabrication of Jigs/ Fixtures/Templates will be made under this item), machinery, equipment, all consumables including electricity, tools and plants, accessories, labour, all consumables and handling various components during fabrication. Railway will provide Raw Material (Steel) like MS Plates, Flats, Angles, Channels etc. only free of cost required for fabrication of Girder Components to the contractor. For payment purpose, nominal weight of the girder/fabricated materials as per drawing will only be 1 considered. Note : a.Only Steel for fabrication will be provided by Railway, Contractor has to execute all fabrication work under this item including fabrication of all Jigs/Fixtures/ Templates etc. Railway will provide Raw Steel sections like M.S. Plates, Flats, Channels, Angles etc. for fabrication of Jigs/ Fixtures/Templates etc. Contractor will have to fabricate Jigs/Fixtures/Templates etc. required as per drawings/as per direction of Engineer-in-charge with Railway's Structural Steel and his own Nuts, Bolts, Bushes, Drifts and other labour, T&P, M&P, consumables etc. Payment for fabrication of Jigs/ Fixtures/Templates etc. will be done under this item. b.Fabrication is to be done in PD/DDU as per relevant RDSO Drawings/Referred drawings therein or as per any other approved drawing. c.Fabrication work is to be done according to IRS-B1-2001 with latest correction slips/updated, Welded Bridge Code etc. as per approved QAP, WPSS & WPQR and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
