East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, each other (non-lead) member of the JV must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 07 (seven) years, one similar work for a minimum of 15% of the cost of any component of work mentioned in the technical eligibility criteria. The bidder must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 7 years, one similar work for a minimum of 30% of the cost of any component of work mentioned in the technical eligibility criteria. Substantially Completed Work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value (excluding the payment made for adjustment of Price variation) has been made to the contractor in that ongoing contract. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
