The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and site for each of the last five years. The bidder must have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to at least one-third of the estimated cost of the work, or a higher amount as may be specified. Additionally, the bidder should have completed a minimum of one similar work with a value of at least 25% of the contract price. The bidder's prior work experience and similar works completed should be at least 70% of the estimated cost of the work. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum financial turnover in any one year of at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works, indexed at the rate of 8 percent per year. Furthermore, the bidder should have prior work experience in construction works, with a minimum value of Rs 40 Lacs in the last five years. The bidder's similar works completed should also have a value and percentage of completion as specified, with a certificate from the Executive Engineer stating the similar nature of works executed.
