The required prior work experience for the bidder is 5 years of experience in civil engineering construction work. The bidder should have executed works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years as a prime contractor. The value and percentage of similar works completed is mentioned as one-third of the estimated cost of the work for which the bid is invited, and also 13% of the cost of the work. Additionally, the bidder must have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of the work for which the bid is invited. The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover, and completed civil engineering construction works with a volume of at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works for which the bid has been invited. The bidder should also have experience of similar works, with a maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder needs to provide information on the total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited, with specific values for each year.
