The bid capacity required in the given tender can be calculated using the following formulas: 1. For works more than Rs. 200.00 lacs: - Liquid Asset Requirement: 15% of Bid Value - Turnover Requirement: Average annual turnover for the last 3 years ≥ 50% of BOQ - Experience Requirement: Two similar completed development works/structural building works aggregating to the bid value, or one similar completed development work/structural building works aggregating to 80% of the bid value. 2. For works more than Rs. 25.00 lacs & up to Rs. 200.00 lacs: - Liquid Asset Requirement: 20% of Bid Value - Turnover Requirement: Average annual turnover for the last 3 years ≥ 50% of BOQ - Experience Requirement: Three similar completed development works/structural building works aggregating to the bid value (with at least one work being 50% of the bid value), or one similar completed development work/structural building works aggregating to 80% of the bid value. Additionally, the bidding capacity of the contractor can be calculated using the formula: Bidding Capacity = (A x N x M) - B where A = Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, N = Numbers of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited, M = 2.5 B = Value at the current price level of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of the works for which bids are invited. The bid capacity required can also be calculated as: 1. For works > Rs. 200 lacs: Bid Capacity = 2 * Bid Value (for two similar completed works) or 0.8 * Bid Value (for one similar completed work). 2. For works between Rs. 25 lacs and Rs. 200 lacs: Bid Capacity = 3 * Bid Value (for three similar completed works with at least one being 50% of the bid value) or 0.8 * Bid Value (for one similar completed work).
