Earth work in cutting or in embankment in ordinary soil, excavation to be in the regular pits not exceeding 0.5m in depth and earthwork in embankment to be in 20cm. Layers including ramming and dressing the surface to required levels and slopes and also including 1.5 lift and 30m lead. The earth from cutting to be used in making embankment or to be deposited as spoil banks within 30m. Distance as directed by the engineer in charge (Excluding Royalty) S.No. 253

Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavatiing earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earth with lead upto 50 metres. As per DSR Item No.16.1

Providing and applying bitumen emulsion tack coat with butumenus grade VG-10 over prepare surface of granuler base(primer coat) including cleaning of road sruface sand spreading tack coat @ 0.50 Kg/ sqm using machanical means as per morth (Morth 502) (Analyis Rate)

Provding and fixing Glow studs(Cats Eye) af size 100x 20m made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloetrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene ) of ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accrodance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35(+/-5) degress to base. The reflective panels of both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminationce intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I:809 as recommended in BS :873 part 4 :1973.
