The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing similar works such as construction of airport terminal buildings, commercial complexes, shopping malls, institutional buildings, office buildings, 5-star hotels, metro station buildings, or hospitals. The bidder should have completed works costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the quoted cost for three similar completed works, 50% of the quoted cost for two similar completed works, or 80% of the quoted cost for one similar completed work.
The bidder should have completed three works of Rs. 3.37 Crores each, two works of Rs. 4.22 Crores each, or one work of Rs. 6.74 Crores in a single contract of similar nature of work on EPC Mode/Turn Key (Design & Build) Basis during the last 07 years. These values are excluding GST. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned.
The experience criteria and current costing level should be arrived by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum, calculated from the date of completion to the date of bid opening. Substantial completion is based on 80% of the awarded cost or more value-wise works completed under the contract.
Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual value of Rs. 25.29 Crores on general construction works, with at least 50% (Rs. 12.65 Crores) being from Civil/E&M Engineering construction works carried out in any of the financial years during the last five years. The bidder should also have an Average Annual Financial Turnover of Rs. 2.98 Crores on construction works during the last three years.
