DT Gates 3 and 5;Overhauling of hoist system: Overhauling of 22 mt capacity DT gate hoist system: inspection of gear box, supply and replacement of seals, gear coupling cleaning and greasing, supply and replacement of brake liner and break magnetic coil, inspection of worm screw and wheel and if required replacement of them, Rope drum maintenance: charges included for Oil seals, brake liners and Electromagnetic plunger for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Grease, gear box oil, worm screw and wheel will be provided by TGGENCO.

DT Gates 3 and 5;Gate Liners repairs/replacement: Repairs/replacement & strengthening of MS 26X70mm and SS 20X50mm liners on draft tube gates for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: MS & SS flats, buffing wheels, grinding wheels will be provided by TGGENCO.

DT Gates 3 and 5;Bulb seal replacement: Dismantling of old and worn-out/damaged 4.5 m length top and bottom seals, 7.4 m length two side seals, 20 mm square bar, MS flats and re-tapping of all threaded holes, Replacement/Strengthening of bulb seal mounting flats, fixing of new bulb seals ,20 mm square bar on MS flats on draft tube gate, testing of gate including complete lowering and lifting of the gate for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Rubber bulb seals, nut and bolts will be provided by TGGENCO.

DT Gates 3 and 5;Evener beam strengthening: Repairs/replacement and strengthening of 02 m length, old and damaged L-angles of Evener beams and other works in the Surge chamber for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: L-angles, cutting gases, welding electrodes will be provided by TGGENCO.

DT Gates 3 and 5;Stiffener plates repairs: Repairs/replacement and strengthening of old and damaged 8 mm/10 mm/16 mm thick stiffener plates of size 01sq mt of Draft tube gate and other works in the Surge chamber for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. Note: MS plates of thickness 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm and 16 mm; cutting gases, welding electrodes will be provided by TGGENCO.

DT Gates 3 and 5;Cleaning and painting: Thorough cleaning, buffing/chipping and painting of DT gates including evener beam, wire rope and DT gate hoist platform by 01 coat red oxide zinc primer of min 75 Microns DFT and two coats of Coal tar epoxy paint 200 microns DFT and applying wire rope compound to wire rope for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Buffing wheels, grinding wheels, paints & rope compound will be provided by TGGENCO.

DT Gates 3 and 5;Filler valve assembly replacement: Dismantling 01 No filler valve, fabrication of new valve bend, supply and installation of MS and SS flanges to valve end and installation of new filler valve. It has to align with existing connecting rod assembly, charges included for MS bend, MS and SS flanges, for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 200 mm, SCH 40 MS pipe, welding electrodes, cutting gases will be provided by TGGENCO. Note 2: Contractor shall supply 01 MS bend (SCH40, 200 Dia, long radius) of make TATA/JINDAL, MS and SS flanges.

DT Gates 3 and 5;Link plates replacement: Dismantling of 08 Nos elemental link plates and pins on two sides of element structure of gate, strenghtening of link plates 12 mm thick base plate, fabrication and installation of 8 Nos link plates of size 480mm X 180mm X 16mm and 04 Nos pins of size 70mm Dia X 100 mm length with proper alignment of gate including charges for carbon steel pins, other consumable etc. for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 16 mm thick MS plate, welding electrodes, cutting gases will be provided by TGGENCO Note2: Contractor shall supply 04 nos carbon steel pins of size 70mm Dia X 100 mm length as per IS 1570:Part-V

DT Gates 3 and 5;Elemental splice joint repairs: Dismantling of 2 Nos elemental splice joints between Elements 1 and 2, 2 and 3 of DT Gate, Enlargement of existing M14 holes to M16 on skin plate after assessing gate condition, fabrication and installation of new splice joints with proper alignment of gate for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note 1. 10 mm thick MS plate, paints, welding electrodes, cutting gases will be provided by TGGENCO . Note 2. Contractor shall supply, i. 4 Nos Natural rubber/SBR sheets: IS 11855: 5 m length X 150mm width X 10mm thickness, required shore a Durometer Hardness 65 Plus or Minus 5, Minimum Elongations : 450 percent Ultimate Tensile Strength: 14.5 N/mm2 (Rates arrived as per local market) ii. 85 Nos M14 x 100mm length: Hexagonal head: Bolt with self lock nut and washer: Pitch:1.5mm: Threads per inch: 17: Thread length: 50mm: Material: SS304 as per the IS 1363 standard

DT Gates 3 and 5;Replacement of connecting rod assembly: Machining of MS plates in workshop, welding & fabrication of the bracket, installation of new connecting rod & it is to align with existing filler valves of DT gate, charges included for machining in outside workshops, for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Connecting rod, welding electrodes, cutting gases will be supplied by TGGENCO

DT Gates 3 and 5;Connecting rod dismantling, repairs and re-assembly: Dismantling of one number old connecting rod assembly along with bronze bushes, repairs of the bracket of connecting rod, cleaning & assembling connecting rod; it is to align with existing filler valves of DT gate, for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

DT Gates 3 and 5;Replacement of guide shoes and their mounting plates Dismantling of all old and damaged 08 mm thick side skin plate & guide shoes of Draft tube gate, strengthening of guide shoes mounting plates with 12 mm plate as per field requirement. Fabrication of new guide shoe as per drawings and painting with one coat red oxide and two coats of anti corrosive black, assembly of 12 no's guide shoes for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 10 mm & 12 mm thick MS plates, SS nuts & bolts, welding electrodes & cutting gases will be provided by TSGENCO.

DT Gates 3 and 5;Service charges Lifting and rigging arrangements: Charges for arranging suitable chain blocks ( 5t and 10t Hoist capacity) to lift 22MT draft tube gates, shifting of two numbers girders from EL 192 m to EL 183 m, lifting & resting of DT Gate on girders on existing concrete structure at EL 183m by disengaging evener beam and its pulleys. Removal of girders and placing them on walkway after DT Gate repair works. Cleaning of site in all aspects for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
