Earth work Excavation for roadway in soil upto SDR by MECHANICAL Means including cutting in roadway and pushing of the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 M, including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross sections, including all hire and operational charges of T&P, all labour charges, all taxes excluding GST etc., complete for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and as per technical specification clause 302.3 MORD/301 MORTH. (Payment will be based on levels for finished item of work).

Construction of embankment with available useful excavated earth deposited at site by road way including watering, grading and compacting each layer to required proctors density with OMC compaction with vibratory roller of 8 Tonnes capacity, maintaining the required camber in the formation including all labour charges, hire and operational charges of power roller, mortar grader, water tanker, all water leads, all taxes excluding GST etc., complete as per requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification clause 301.5 MORD/305 MORT&H (5th Revision). (Payment will be based on levels for finished item of work).

Construction of embankment with good gravel brought from outside and spreading in layers of not more than 200mm thick each as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge during execution, watering, dozing, grading and compacting each layer to required proctors density with OMC compaction with vibratory roller of 8 Tonnes capacity, maintaining the required camber in the formation including all labour charges, hire and operational charges of power roller, mortar grader, water tanker, all water leads, cost and conveyance of all material to site, excluding GST etc., complete as per requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification clause 301.5 MORD/305 MORT&H (5th Revision). (Payment will be based on levels for finished item of work).

Providing and laying gravel shoulders including sectioning to have proper crossfall, spreading by approved means, compaction with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonnes capacity to achieve the desired density,including cost and conveyance of all material,watering,labour charges for all operations,all taxes excluding GST,hire and operational charges all T & P, diversion of traffic etc complete for finished item of work as per MORT&H(5th Revision) Specification 401.

Construction of Granular sub base of 200mm thick by providing HBG/HBT material confirming to Grading-I of MORT&H Table- 401,35% of 53mm to 9.50mm HBG metal, 47.5% of 9.50mm to 4.75mm HBG metal and 17.5% of 2.36mm and below HBG metal including cost and conveyance of all materials to work site, labour charges, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader or by approved means, on prepared surface mixing by mix in place method with rotavator/approved means at OMC and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, labour charge, all taxes excluding GST etc. complete for finished item of work as per MORT&H (5th Revision) Technical specification clause no:401 as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing,laying,spreading and compacting graded stone aggregates to Wet Mix Macadam specification including cost and conveyance of all material, all taxes excluding GST, hire and operational charges of T&P, labour charges for all operations, premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver finisher in sub base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, grading, barricading and maintenance of diversion of trafic, etc., complete for finished item of work as per tables 400.11 & 400.12 technical specification clause 406 MORT&H (5th Revision)

Providing and applying Primer coat with bitumen emulsion(Bulk-Slow Setting-1) over the prepared surface of granular base as Wet Mix Macadam surface at the rate of 6kg /10sqm including cleaning the road surface with mechanical broom and air compressor and spraying uniformly with the aid of bitumen pressure sprayer including cost and conveyance of bitumen emulsion and water,labour charges,cleaning,all taxes excluding GST, hire charges and operational charges of all T&P necessary to complete the finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge as per MORT&H(5th Revision) specification 502.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion(Rapid setting-1) over the prepared surface before laying DBM at the rate of 2.5kg/10sqm including cleaning the road surface with mechanical broom and air compressor and applying uniformity with the aid of emulsion pressure sprayer including cost and conveyance of bitumen emulsion, labour charges, cleaning, all taxes excluding GST, hire charges and operational charges of all T&P necessary to complete the finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge as per MORT&H(5th Revision) specification 503.

Providing and laying of 60 mm thick Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant using HBG crushed aggregates of Grading - II as per table 500-10 of MoRT & H Specification 505 (5th revision) premixed with bitumen VG-10 grade @ 4.25% of wieght of total mixture, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with Hydrostatic sensor paver to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per Clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction for finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including hire and operational charges all T&P and all other contingent charges necessary including charges of all materials, all taxes excluding GST etc., complete and as per MoRTH speicification NO. 505 (5th Revision).

Providing and applying Tack coat with Bitumen Emulsion rapid setting-1 over the prepared surface before laying BC @2kg/10Sqm including cleaning the road surface with mechanical broom and air compressor and applying uniformity with the aid of emulsion pressure sprayer including cost and conveyance of bitumen emulsion, labour charges, cleaning, all taxes excluding GST, hire charges and operational charges of all T & P necessary to complete the finished item of work as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge as per MORT&H(5th Revision) specification503.

Providing,laying and consolidation 30 mm thick bituminous concrete on prepared surface with specified graded crushed aggregate grade II as per table no 500-17 of specification 507 of MORT & H (5th revision) premixed with 60/70 grade (VG -30) bitumen binder @ 5.40% of weight of mix conforming to MORTH Specification 507 for wearing course including loading aggregates with F.E.loader, heating and mixing the aggregate and binder in 100-120 TPH Capacity hot mix plant, transporting the mixed material with tipper and laying with 100TPH capacity Paver Finisher Hydrostatic with sensor control to the required level, rolling with vibratory roller of 8 -10T static weight and tandem roller to achieve the desired density including hire and operational charges of all T & P, cost and conveyance of all materials,all taxes excluding GST, labour charges for all operations, diversion of traffic, etc., complete for finished item of work, sa directed by Engineer in Charge

Providing and laying factory made chamfered edge Cement Concrete paver blocks (60 mm Thick, M-30) in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking, cycle track etc, of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand. complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge excluding GST. Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete (1:2.5:5) corresponding to M-15 grade using 6-12mm nominal size well graded machine crushed hard granite chips (coarse aggregate) with minimum cement content of 275 kgs from approved quarry including cost, conveyance charges of all materials and all labour charges, machine mixing, laying concrete, vibrating, finishing smooth to required levels, curing, all incidental and operational charges,all taxes excluding GST complete for finished item of work for coping as per MORT&H(5th Revision) specification 2100.

Supplying of hot applied thermoplastic road marking compound, 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250gms with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Concrete and bituminous Surface at 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass bead as per MORT&H Section 803.4 and IRC: 35, the material should satisfy the requirements as per MORTH specifications 803.4 and must comply with the following: a) White index for the product should be in the range of 60-70 when measured against standard reference. The applied panel 7/8 number must be submitted for checking up the white index in the department lab. In case the department approves the white index of any vendor, the department engineer may carryout random checking of the applied products at site against the approved panel. In case of any major deviation, beyond acceptance limit, department reserve the right to cancel or reject the total supplied consignment of the said material and will compell the vendor has to replace the full consignment by the desired material as per approved panel at his own cost and additional demurrages may be claimed due to loss of man days (as per the rules of the department). b) Luminance factor of the material should be in the range of 80-85% at 45 degree centigrade as per AASTHOM 249. c) Crack resistance: The applied panel cured for 7 days under ambient condition and then should be tested as per BS3262, Part-1, 1989 and should pass at the range of '0' degree centigrade to '-10' degree centigrade D) Adhesion : Strong E) Softening point: 102 degree centigrade F) Dried film finish : Smooth and uniform G) Night Vision: High as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and confirming to IS: 164-1961 (1st revision reaffirmed in 1986) and clause conforming to IRC 35 and MORT&H Section 803.4

Road Markers/Road Studs:Supplying & Fixing of Molded Shanks Raised Pavement Markers made of plastic body moulded from HIPS(Hi-impact Polystyrene) and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 – DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height and width shall not exceed 20 mm and 130 mm with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 700 Kgs. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the twin shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.

Painting with one coat of cement primer and two or more coats of best quality of synthetic enamel paint of approved shades on new concrete surfaces including cost and conveyance of all materials like Primer, Synthetic enamel paint, thinner, brushes, ladder etc to site, including sales and other taxes on all materials, curing, all taxes but excluding GST etc complete for finished item of work as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause No. 8.8 of MoRT&H Specification No.803

The overhead charges includes Labour Amenitites and Labour Importation / Compensation / Site Supervision / Quality Control Charges and Bankers Charges, etc. Hence the contractros quoted percentage is inclusive of all the above including Technical persons labour welfare cess, District mineral fund and work insurance and no reimbursement for these will be made. 2)The above rates for finished items of work including cost and convenyance of all requisite materials to site, Labour Charges for all operationas, curing wherever needed, all Incidental, Hire and Operational charges of all T&P barricading, Diversion of traffic etc., including all taxes except GST & Seigniorage Charges
