Removal of old/seized ERC Clips from the track during traffic and insertion of new 04 ERC's supplied by the Railway, greasing of ERC legs and eye of MCI inserts with contractor's own grease of zero graphite (Ographite) with all labour, tools and plants, crossing of tracks, lead, transport of graphite grease, taxes etc complete. NOTE:- This item is meant for replacement of old/seized Elastic rail clips in the existing track under running traffic condition. The new required ERCs as per the planning of the work shall be issued to contractor from temporary store/depot of the yard in which he is working through hand receipt. Contractor will transport this materials to the site of work and released ERC shall be brought to the temporary store as per the direction of the Engineer in charge and shall be stacked properly. Necessary hand receipt to be obtained by the contractor in token of having handed over the released materials. Required grease " O " graphite shall be arranged by the contractor for fixing of ERCs.
