The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The total value of similar nature of work completed during the qualifying period will be considered. The value of work completed will not include the cost of any materials issued free of cost by the Railway/Department concerned. Price Variation amount, if any, will also be considered towards eligibility. The works executed by the tenderer for any Govt./Govt. bodies/PSUs and public listed company shall only be considered for fulfilling the Technical Eligibility Criteria. The work experience certificate should contain details such as name of work, agreement number and date, name of agency, agreement value, due date and actual date of completion, value of final bill passed, performance of the contractor, signature, name, designation, and seal of the issuing officer. For JV firms, the credentials proportionate to the tenderer's share in the JV will be considered. The required prior work experience is to be established through a work experience certificate, which should be issued by an officer not below the rank of JA Grade or Bill passing Officer in Railways and Bill passing Officer/Executive in-charge of the work in other Government Departments/Government bodies/public sector undertakings. The certificate should contain details regarding the name of the work, agreement number and date, name of the agency, agreement value in Rupees (amount in words and figures), due date and actual date of completion, value of the final bill passed (amount in words and figures), performance of the contractor, signature, name, designation, and seal of the issuing officer. The tenderer should submit a list of works completed in the last Seven financial years, including description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award and date of scheduled completion of work, as well as the actual start and completion dates and the final value of the contract. The percentages of similar works completed mentioned are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The amount mentioned is Rs 500 crore, which is the average annual turnover of the public listed company in the last 3 financial years.
