Kaman to Housing board colony;Supplying and fixing of molded raised pavement markers (Reflective Road studs) made of polycarbonate amnd ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro with microprismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 1600km rested in accordance to ASTM D4280,Type H and complying to specifications of category A of MORTH Circular No.RW/NH/33023/10/97-DO III Dt.11-6-1997 . The height,width and length shall not exced 50mm,100mm and 100mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sqmcm, on each side and the slope to the base shall br 350 degree+/-5 degree.the strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks from the body is to be a minimum value of 700kms. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for twin shanks to go inside. without nails and using exposy resin adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendations including site clearance etc., and complete as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Kaman to Housing board colony;Supplying of rumbling strips of hot applied thermoplastic road marking compound 2.5mm thick including Reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms with reflecting glass beads on bituminous surface at 250 gms per sqm area thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35, the material should be of BERGER company/ BERGER Equivalent and must comply with the following: a)white index for the product should be in the range of 60-70 when measured against standard reference. The applied panel 7/8 number must besubmitted for checking up the white index in the department lab. In case the department approves the white index of any vendor, the department engineer may carryout random checking of the applied products at site against the approved panel. In case of any major deviation, beyond acceptance limitm, department reserve the right to cancel or reject the total supplied consignment of the said material and will compell the vendor has to replace the full consignment by the desired material as per approved panel at his own cost and additional demurrages may be claimed due to loss of man days (as per the rules of the department). b) luminance factor of the material should be in the range of 80-85% at 45 degree centigrade as per AASTHOm 249. c) crack resistance : The applied panel cured for 7 days under ambient condition and then should be tested as per BS3262, Part-1, 1989 and should pass at the range of '0' degree centigrade to '-10' degree centigrade. D) adhesion: strong E) Softening point: 102 degree centigrade. F) Dried film finish: Smooth and uniform. G) Night vision : High as directed in 1986) and clause conforming to IRC 35-1997.

Kaman to Housing board colony;Providing and fixing cautionary/Warning sign boards 900mm equilateral triangle made out of Type -XI of ASTM D4956-09 wide angle cube corncern micro prismatic retro reflective sheeting and confirming to IRC 67/2012 for full back ground of white colour and letters/logos done by screen printing in Black colour, boarders by screen printing in Red colour and fixed over 3mm aluminium composite material (ACM) sheet having minimum of 0.30mm thick aluminium skin on both side with back side painted grey colour and fixed over back support frame of MS angle 25x25x3mm all round and fixing with 35x35x4mm and mounted on a MS angle post of size 75x75x6mm with clear height of not less than 2.1m from the ground level the bottom of the board. The signpost should be painted with one coat of red oxide paint and 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint Black & White colour with bands of 30 cm height. The signpost shall be firmly fixed with MS base angle 35x35x4mm in to the ground by M15 concrete foundation of size 450x450x600mm, including cost and conveyance of all materials, equipment, machinery and labour with all leads and lifts, loading charges necessary for satisfactory completion of the work as directed by Engineer - In - Charge.

Kaman to Housing board colony;Providing and fixing Junction boards of size 1500mmx1200mm made of Type XI of ASTM D4956-09 with wide angle cube concerned micro prismatic retro reflective sheeting and confirming to IRC 67:2012 for full back ground of Green and white letters fixed over 4mm aluminium composite materials sheet having minimum 0.5mm thick aluminium skin on both side with back side painted with grey colour and fixing over back support frame of MS angle 25x25x3mm all round and fixing with 35x35x4mm and mounted on a MS angle post of size 75x75x6mm with clear height of not less than 2.1m from the ground level the bottom of the board. The signpost should be painted with one coat of red oxide paint and 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint Black & White colour with bands of 30 cm height. The signpost shall be firmly fixed with MS base angle 35x35x4mm in to the ground by M 15 grade concrete foundation of size 450x450x600mm, including cost and conveyance of all materials, equipment, machinery and labour wih all leads and lifts, loading, unloading charges necessary for successful completion of the work as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Kaman to Housing board colony;Providing fixing of Median Marker made of polycarbonate/ABS for impact resistance and good weatherability. Polycarbonate/ABS used for molding the Median Marker shall have a minimum Izod impact strength value of 600 J/m at room temperature. The impact strength of the polycarbonate/ABS should not decrease to less than 70 % of its initial value on being subjected to UV weathering as per ASTM G 155 for 1000 hours or exposure to 2 years of natural weathering. The body of the median marker shall be in the form of an isosceles trapezoidal / Circular structure of length 15 cm, height and width of 10x10 cm. The Median Marker shall have fluorescent yellow retro-reflective sheeting conforming to type XI specifications as per ASTM D4956 & IRC 67-2012. Area of reflective sheeting should not be less than 70 cm2. Edge of retro-reflective sheeting shall be concealed using a grill/ mesh/ similar mechanism to prevent vandalism and sheeting pilferage. The logo of the manufacturer shall be embossed and printed in contrasting color on both sides of median marker for distinct identification (even from moving vehicles).
