Construction of Shelters for Urban Homeless;Construction of Shelter for Urban Homeless by innovative Pre Engineered Building process Design, Engineering fabrication erection and Construction of Shelters by Pre Engineered Building process for Urban Homeless of approved type design and drawings. Structural framing shall be made with TATA/Jindal/Essar material. The Structure shall be designed to withstand live loads, Wind Loads and Seismic loads (Zone-2) in accordance with relevant BIS codes and other applicable codes i.e., AISC/MBMA/ASTM , weld as per AES D1.1 , wind application as per IS 875 latest codes designed to carry loads from G+ 1 story , RCC members shall be in accordance with IS 456 & in accordance with relevant, latest BIS codes with the following specifications: The structure shall be of pre engineered building type supported on prefabricated steel columns , beams & joists with RCC slab on deck profiled sheet roofing. a) Earth work :- In all types of soils including rock with all leads lifts & operational charges comlpete. (b) Foundations: i) Foundations for all the steel columns shall be designed to withstand loads from G+1 storey & placed over a base of 100 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 proportion size shall be inaccodance with SBC , Footings / Pedestals / Columns up to plinth level, complete with beam @ plinth level shall be in RCC M20 grade concrete along with steel reinforcement as per designs. ii) Foundations and basement for walls shall be in CRS masonry 0.45 m wide in CM (1:6) proportion over PCC bed of 100 mm thick for a depth of 0.90 m and pointing with cement mortar 1:3 for exposed surfaces. c) Plinth Filling :- Plinth filling shall be with good gravel with due compaction. (d) Structural Steel: All columns shall be of prefabricated M.S. plates /sctions confirming to IS of not less than - Web 350 x 6 mm , Flange 180 x 8 mm, base plate 400 x 20 mm , splice plate 550x 20 mm .Columns shall be projected beyond roof to fecilitate construction of subsequent floor. All Beams shall be of prefabricated M.S. plates/ sctions of not less than Web 350 x 6 mm , Flange 200 x 10 mm, splice plate 550x 20 mm. Roof Joist shall be of prefabricated M.S. plates/ sctions of not less than - Web 225 x 6 mm , Flange 125 x 6 mm.. layout & sections of all structural steel members shall be as per approved design and drawings and including fabrication , transportation, erection and painted with one coat of epoxy primer & two coats of epoxy paint including sand / shot blasting. (e) Superstructure: All the walls shall be of 150 mm thick Auto claved Aerated Concrete brick masonry in CM (1:4) and plastered with CM (1:5)- 20 mm thick (f) Roofing :- Roofing shall be with RCC M 20 grade concerete on roller deck sheet of 1.0 mm thick profiled sheet confirming to IS: 277 along with steel reinforcement as per design. Roof shall with covered with accoproof impervious plaster in CM to make leak proof with proper slopes to drain out rain water with necessary down take pipes and shall be covered by parapet alround. (g) Stair case :- Access stair case to the roof shall be provided as per approved drawing in concrete waist laid over deck sheet ,MS stringer beams and laterals and foot rests, necessry hand railing , painting ,along with head room . (h) Flooring: Flooring shall be with polished tandur blue stone laid over cement mortar over a base PCC of 100 mm thick. (i) False Ceiling: Shall be with 12 mm thick gypsum board using 16 gauge aluminium channels with all necessary fixtures. Clear head room of 10' below false ceiling shall be maintained. (j) Doors and Windows: Shall be provided as per approved drawing made of BT wood for doors of size 3?6? x 7? with 4?x 3? frame & 1? thick double door shutters with all fixtures & fastenings. UPVC windows of size 4? x 4? of standard make sliding doors with mosquitoproof mesh & glazed shutters with all fixtures & fastenings and shall be painted with primer & synthetic enamel paint - two coats finished item. (k) Electricals: Wiring with 1.5 Sqmm PVC copper wire IS standard, pvc conduits for mains & distribution lines for all light points, fans, plug points, switch control, mains distribution boards etc, complete with all necessary fixtures as per approved drawings for all the rooms, etc. ? internal & external. (l) Water Supply & Sanitary Items: Toilets/bath rooms shall be constructed as per approved plan/ drawing provided with 6? height glazed ceramic tiles inside and for floor with standard Indian/ Western type commodes, flush tanks, water supply connection pipe lines with cpvc material , swg drainage lines for toilets & bath all relevant plumbing works including doors & ventilators along with 2 nos 1 kl Syntex overhead storage tank as per approved plan. Septic tank of 10 kL capacity with cement bricks shall be provided with necessary fixtures, pipe lines, flooring internal plastering,all accesseries and shall be made water tight. (m) Painting & finishing: Interior & exterior surfaces shall be painted with 1st quality cement primer & two coats of emulsion paint & synthetic enamel paint doors, windows & fixtures as directed by the department. (n) Land scaping :- Soft & Hard land scaping around the building shall be provided as per the approved layout plan and drawings. (o) Front Elevation :- Front Elevation to the building shall be provided as per type design and approved architectural plan as directed by the department. (p) All the miscellaneous works shall be taken up like levelling the ground, approaches, plantation etc. as required to make the structure fully functional & operational as per approved type design & architectural plans as directed by the department and inclusive of labour cess NAC, seignorage complete for finished work.
