The bidder should have prior work experience in civil engineering works. They should have experience of executing civil engineering works, with a maximum value of civil engineering works executed in its name in any one financial year during the last Ten financial years. The bidder should have completed works worth a certain value, but the exact percentage of similar works completed is not specified, except that similar works should be at least 90% of the contract value. Details of similar works completed (not less than 90% of contract value) by the bidder during the last ten financial Years are required. No specific amount is mentioned as a requirement for the prior work experience, except that the assessed available bid capacity of Bidders shall be greater than or equal to the estimated contract value. However, the value of liquid assets/credit facilities/solvency certificates required is Rs. 138.45 Lakhs. For tenders up to 25% less than the estimated contract value of work, no additional security deposit is required. But for tenders which are less by more than 25% of the estimated Contract Value of work, the difference between the tendered amount and 75% of the estimated contract value shall be paid by the successful tenderer as an additional security. Tenders with an excess of above 5% of the estimated contract value shall be rejected.
