The bidder should have executed civil works during the last five financial years from 2020-21 to 2024-25. To qualify, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works, i.e., Road works of value not less than a certain amount (the amount is not specified) in any one year. The bidder should have executed the following minimum physical quantities in any one financial year during the last five financial years, but the specific quantities are not mentioned. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the current price level. The available bid capacity will be calculated as under: Available Bid Capacity : 2 A N – B, where A = Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in its name in any one financial year during the last five financial years. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, the bidder's experience in a registered JV firm to the extent of the Bidder’s share shall be considered if the Bidder happens to be the lead partner, for similar works criteria also. The bidder needs to provide details of the value of Civil Engineering works executed in each year during the last five financial years. For tenders which are less by more than 15% of the estimated Contract Value of work, the difference between the tendered amount and 85% of the estimated contract value, shall be paid by the successful Bidder at the time of concluding agreement as an additional security to fulfill the contract. Bidders quoted above estimated contract value shall summarily be rejected in the first call. In case of non-responsive in the first call, tenders up to 5% Excess over the estimated contract value will be considered in subsequent calls. For Bidders up to 15% less than the estimated contract value of work, no additional security deposit is required. Subcontractors/GPA holders experience shall not be taken into account.
