Supplying, fabricating erecting/fixing in position in yard and at an elevation of 7 meters over trestle generally as indicated in the relevant drawings, using Carbon steel seamless pipes conforming to ASTM A 106 Gr.B & Dimensions conforming to ANSI B 36.10 Schedule-40 with IBR certificate (Make M/S Jindal, Tata/MSL) and other suitable fittings/sockets/MS flanges confirming to ANSI B16.5 with 3 mm thick asbestos gaskets of suitable grade, fastened using suitable bolt, nut and washers, as directed. Piping to be supported with suitable clamps on MS structural frame work. Pipes to be wrapped with heat resistant protection for steam pipeline insulation i.e. good quality 40 mm thick mineral wool as per IS 5696. Working temperature up to 300 deg C. Insulation jacket shall be of aluminium sheet of thickness not less than 22 SWG as directed by engineer in charge. Testing & commissioning: Pipelines to be DP tested and hydraulically tested segment wise at a pressure of 15 bar followed by flushing and commissioning including cost of all consumables, labour, etc., complete as directed by EIC.
Documents to be submitted: (a) Original manufacturer's test certificates of the pipes supplied. (b) Pipe sample(s) from each batch to be tested at MSME laboratory for its mechanical & chemical properties. (c) IBR welder certificate to be submitted for the engaged welders. Unit cost includes that of all consumables, compressed asbestos jointing sheet gaskets, insulation, bolts and nuts for flanged joints, labour etc. as directed by engineer-in-charge.
