Providing centering and shuttering using good quality densified film-faced Plywood of at least 12mm thick approved make conforming to IS 4990 so as to produce neat form finished concrete surfaces, with steel staging system formwork (Doka/L&T/RMD/Paschal/PERI/MEVA/MIVAN system or any other approved by EIC) will have to be used for all structural elements, including strutting and propping etc. at all levels, depths and heights including clear storey heights and removal of the same and including sealing the form joints suitably to avoid fins and abrupt irregularities, etc.complete all as per drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: 1) This item is applicable for all PCC and RCC structural elements like footings/raft, columns, tiebeam, plinth beam, basement slab etc., for all heights/levels. 2) Only steel scaffolding, staging, supporting system to the formwork will have to be used for all RCC structural elements for all floors & at all levels/heights. 3) All surfaces adjacent to EPs, etc., shall be in true line and level & irregularities, if any, shall be rounded by mechanical grinding, chiseling, finishing the same using epoxy silica sand mortar (M/s. FOSROC/M/s. Supplying, fabricating and erecting / fixing in position the piping either inside plant building / in yard, at all elevations from 0 to 12 metres height over trestle and at all depths generally as indicated in the relevant drawings. Following specified materials shall be used. (1) Pipe: (a) Carbon steel bevelled end seamless pipes conforming to ASTM A 106 Gr.B & dimensions conforming to ANSI B36.10 of make M/s MSL / M/s Jindal / M/s Tata; (b) Screwed ends Galvanized Iron pipes Conforming to IS 1239-1 Heavy Class with socket at one end makes M/s Tata/Jindal; (c) Stainless steel bevelled end seamless pipes conforming to ASTM A312 TP304 & dimensions conforming to ANSI B36.19; of make M/s Jindal / Remi / Inox / Nippon / Ratnamani
(2) Fittings & Flanges: Carbon Steel / SS fittings and flanges confirming to IS:6392 / ASTM A182 and dimensions conforming to ANSI B16.5 for Class 150 with 3mm thk neoprene gaskets of suitable grade, fastened using suitable carbon steel / SS bolts, nuts and washers, as directed by EIC.
(3) Welding & Clamping: Pipes to be welded using E-6010 / E-6011 / E-6012 / E-6013 / ER-308L electrodes of make M/s Ador / Advani / D&H / Phillips and to be supported with suitable clamps on mild steel structural frame work / tee supports. (4) Painting: Pipes to be painted with 2 coats synthetic enamel paint of make M/s Asian/ Berger over one coat of zinc chromate red oxide primer after proper surface preparation to the satisfaction of EIC.
(5) Testing & commissioning: Pipelines to be DP tested and hydraulically tested segment wise at a pressure of 15 bar followed by flushing and commissioning including cost of all consumables, labour, etc., complete as directed by EIC.
(6) Documents to be submitted:
(a) Original manufacturer's test certificates of the pipes supplied.
(b) Pipe sample(s) from each batch to be tested at MSME laboratory for its mechanical & chemical properties.
(c) ITI welder certificate / IBR welder certificate to be submitted for the engaged welders. The unit cost includes cost of all the consumables, labour for laying, cutting, welding & bending and other equipments to complete the required quantity as directed by EIC.
